    My bf and I have been playing this game together for years, with a few occasional difficulties joining a direct match, but usually trying a different method of joining fixes it. We are back to playing after several months hiatus, and now nothing works. We’ve been troubleshooting for 2 hours, he’s restarted his iPad, updated the app, tried from his iPhone, everything, and he still gets the network error when we try a direct match. We had no idea this was such a long-standing issue. We planned on playing nonstop these next couple months throughout this holiday season while we have so much time off, and instead looks like we won’t be playing at all if this isn’t fixed any time soon. :( And I guess gifting each other packs & cometics for Christmas is out.
