    This also occurs when it is also another non-token smoldering egg at times.

    I will keep that in mind regarding the copies of transforming cards though... I suppose I couldn't say with confidence I've paid enough attention to see if my egg tokens transform ever. If they never transform I'll have to somberly accept that explanation, but if not, then I remain vexed.
