I can confirm that the game does not give you priority to act (e.g skips entire post-combat main phase if you're tapped-out) in situations where re-equipping Transmogrant's Crown (via it's own equip ability*) is free.
The same thing applies to other equip-cost-reducing combos with Transmogrant's Crown (Bladegraft Aspirant + Bladehold War-Whip, 2x Bladehold War-Whip, etc).
* This has to be related to the multi-mode equip cost (perhaps because it defaults to B vs 2). If Astor, Bearer of Blades is in play, the game will give priority to the equip the Crown for free via Astor's alternate equip cost, but not it's own. It scans the cost of all possible equip abilities, but not all possible costs of _all possible modes_ of all possible equip abilities.
This game must be so hard to program. Somebody in engineering has to be wondering: why wasn't Transmogrant's Crown templated with 2 different equip abilities (which is somewhat common) instead of being the only equip ability in the game (at least, on Arena, as far as I can tell) with multiple costs? Probably an aesthetic choice: fewer lines of text on the card. Ironically, it might require many additional lines of code to program it's ability into the digital game.
