To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.
Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work
Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Cannot Login
I cannot login to the Companion app with my Wizards account. I am able to sign in to my Wizards account via an internet browser, but nothing happens, and I can’t sign in, when I use the same credentials on the Companion app.

Can’t log in
Anyone else unable to log in to the MtG Companion app? I have the latest version, my iOS is 26.3.1(a), and I’ve tried uninstalling it and reinstalling. It keeps saying my username/password are incorrect. I’ve changed the password, confirmed that I can log in to the website and Arena with no issues, and still can’t get into the Companion App. Any ideas?

unable to login to mobile app
i can't login to the companion app. i've tried deleting the app and reinstalling. when i click on login there is no error message or anything. clicking the login button appears to do nothing. i can log in on the website and even mtg arena. please fix!

Advanced card search still not working
Advanced card seqrching still not working. Type card, subrtyoe card is ignored. Example. I put type card artifact and it shows enchantments, creatures, etc.

Search is no longer usable
New search is no longer usable
You can no longer do an include and exclude color search at the same time.
You can no longer enter multiple keyword searches that are treated as contains searches. Now it is only doing exact phrase searches
You can no longer swipe left and right from search results to see the next card in the search
The changes that were made have made the search unusable

Event dates incorrect
All of the events are listed as March 15th and when you click on them they are listed as Jan 1st.

Locator showing wrong date and label
The locator is not showing the actual date for events, but instead it is showing “03” with the word “label” above and below it instead of the day of the week. For reference, I am reporting this on the sixth of December, meaning it says every event already happened. Attached is a screenshot of the problem.

Compaion App Search Functionality is Broken
Companion search engine is broken.
You can no longer search for keywords in cards, but must search EXACT game text. (I.e. If you search the Rules Text for "create saproling" the database will say no cards exist. See attachment. We all know this to be untrue.)
Search is now case sensitive, which makes searching nigh impossible. (I.e. if you put into rules text "search your library" you'll get a different result than "Search your library".)
Cannot use rules text to search for multiple card abilities without knowing the exact game text on card. (I.e. before if you searched "when enters"…

Invalid JSON content
When I click the play feature, I am prompted to update my account with my first and last name. I do so and hit click to submit and it simply tells me “ invalid JSON content”. Nobody knows how to fix this and I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it too.

Defective Beskir
Rare Beskir companion I earned is defective because its core functionality—the variant shifting—is inaccessible.

Bug: Account won't stay logged in.
Between every round of a tournament my account will log out of the Companion app and sometimes during the event, so when trying to report wins and loses it will not log the results to the event organizer.

Unable to log in to MTG Companion
I am unable to log in to the MTG Companion app.
Issue: Cannot log in from the MTG Companion login screen.
Environment:
• Device: iPhone 17
• iOS version: 26.3.1
• Language: Japanese
• App version: 1.11.7
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Attempt to log in from all login screens in the Companion app.
Actual Behavior: The loading animation plays for about 2 seconds, then returns to the login screen.
Login is not successful.

My local game store is not showing in the app
Zombie Games is not showing in the app but we play both constructed and draft there all the time. Why is it not showing up?

Companion event date bug
All of the dates for event say “label 03 label” instead of a date.

Some store in my near location added my WOTC account to an event where I didn't even attend. I went to that store 2 months ago and I never participated in a event there. Please contact me, I need a to do a for a report.

When you look on event you should be able to see details(date, place etc)
When you register for multiple events, you can’t see the details and track which ones you already registered to.
