    Double strike is not also first strike other wise what's the point of it being first strike double strike is if your creature survives the initial battle where both creatures hit each other then your creature gets a second attack that's what double strike is but not would the games uses it if double strike was also first strike than there's no need to have first strike it would just be a regular attack
