    Is it possible that you don't have the colorless icon selected in the top-left area of the deck building screen? Or, when you say an alchemy format, you don't mean brawl right? Because in that case it may be a color identity issue where you need a Mardu/5c commander. I see mardu monument available for use in a normal alchemy deck on my end.
