    Opponent flipped the invasion of tolvada and created a white and black spirit with lifelink
    I swing for lethal (he had 2 creature, I had 3, he had 1 life) on my turn, opponent blocks one of my creature with that white and black spirit token with lifelink.
    I casted surge before damage to prevent the damage from white and black spirit on my creature that would trigger lifelink
    Damage wasnt prevented, opponents creature trigger lifelink and he was left with positive life
