    My creature did not return to the battlefield as it should have using the card Undying Malice.

    My opponent used Lightning Strike to kill my creature and then I played Undying Malice as an instant response. My creature (Evolved Sleeper which had been upgraded to a Phyrexian Human Cleric 3/3) died, but it was not returned to the battlefield. I believe the upgraded form did not take on the ability that it should. Log of the game attached.
