    to further clarify:
    The pauses i experienced during my turn/actions were long enough that the countdown timer came on during each of my turns as i waited for my action to complete.
    Example:
    -- I would "click" on my action
    -- then opponent would "view" all the cards on the board
    -- then my action would confirm
    -- then opponent would "view" all the cards on the board
    -- then my action would begin
    -- then opponent would "view" all the cards on the board
    -- then my action would complete
    -- then opponent would "view" all the cards on the board
    -- then my next action would begin
    -- then opponent would "view" all the cards on the board
    -- etc...

    This happened for every action in every phase of every turn.
