Option to Hide my Username please
As a female player, I often have random opponents try to look me up on facebook to message me. I'd rather if they didnt have my username I use for all of my personal gaming accounts.

G'day! I found this place while I was looking for some entertainment options during a rainy week in Brighton. I kitted out my account at https://goldenmisters.org.uk and started exploring the different online casino bets available. I’d been feeling a bit down after a series of small losses elsewhere, but the luck really turned around for me here. I’ve managed to win back everything I lost and then some, so I’m currently very satisfied with how things are going.

This is great feedback! As a result of this and others, we recently implemented these changes on Companion. Your information displays dependent on your medium of play now: if it’s an online event, ONLY your display names appears. If it’s an in-person event, ONLY your first and last name will appear. This is also true in EventLink, the partner tool of Companion used by WPN retailers to manage events.
Thanks for taking the time to share this valuable feedback. You’ve made a difference in Companion.

I would also be in favour of an anonymiser. Players may want to be streaming live and they do not want the opponent to look up their stream to cheat. I dont know the percentage of magic players that are also female but I’m guessing the numbers are stupidly low. Sweaty boys playing with paper cards isnt exactly the most inclusive activity.
#WotC should welcome more women and make the game AS ACCESSIBLE as possible. Including preventing harassment and stalking. In 2015, forbes reports there is less than 40% of the player base that are women (quoting Mark Rosewater’s tumblr).
Wizards can do better to level the gender gap and protect a once extremely niche population.
