This still occurs and players who use to rope only to pass priority a half second before the rope timer expires are clearly breaching WoTC terms of service by disrupting other players experiences.

Something needs to be done about this, especially in ranked. After 2 consecutive times of going to the rope, the timer should no longer reset until they go 2 consecutive turns of not using the timer.

After that, they should be forced to immediately pass priority within 3 seconds for the rest of the match and then have that penalty applied for x amount of games or hours afterwards.

Additionally, people should be temp banned from competitive play, just like they would be at any DCI sanctioned event for slow play and disruption.

MMR system needs a complete redo.

I take a break from the game for 8 months, come back and I am bronze ranked. Immediately I am put against silver, gold, plat, diamond, and mythic players. I do not get matched against players in my rank nearly ever.

So I get to enjoy playing high MMR games, while feeling like I am complete trash at the game because I am only in bronze. When it reality, your MMR is completely separate from your rank and has zero relation to it.

Either change it so your MMR is displayed and you ONLY play against those within +/- so many MMR - OR - change it so you at least aren't playing against people outside of you rank (ex. Bronze vs. Bronze, Diamond Vs. Diamond, etc.)

I'm done trying to enjoy ranked when I am put up against top 200 mythic streamers when I am a stay at home dad.

It's very unfair to take wildcards away from free to play players who crafted this deck to play ranked queues. It becomes very difficult/impossible to craft new decks to continue to try and play in the competitive queue.

The argument that these cards will be made legal again in the next standard so do not need to be refunded is illogical. The same could be said for any cards that are banned in standard but not in historic. Even if the cards are legal in the next standard, their value is diminished because that 'standard' is not the same format.

At the end of the day, if someone's competitive deck is impacted by a ban, it is only fair for WoTC to provide those players compensation for the banned cards. Again, precedent has already been set for all other competitive/ranked formats.
