here's what happened.
Opponent Mono White life gain.
Used scarab god to steal all their life gain creature
ULted Kaito
Everytime I drew a card, created a locust token
Everytime I created a locust token gained 1 life
everytime I created an angel gained 4 life
Everytime I did damage to an opponent , searched deck to put a creature in play (Blue or black)
ran out of creatures to put in play
oppent had 150 life
I had 140 life
I had 60+ creatures in play
Went to attack opponent, drained them to 60 life
had to manually decline 60 times kaito's emblem (which drained my timer) EACH TURN
they kept gaining 10 life per turn because I kept drawing 10 cards per turn (my deck is a loot deck..here is deck list)https://aetherhub.com/Deck/planeswalker-discard-control
I won match one. Game went into match 2. I had 5 minutes to win game
With raffein on board and 5 creatures i kept smashing my opponent.
I lost game because at the start of my turn I only had 1 second on my timer..Players shouldn't be penalized time for effects resolving. There needs to be some sort of standard here. For instance, when an effect pops up, there should be a leeway timer for each instance. If you don't resolve the effect within that timer then it starts ticking your timer.
But the way it's currently set up is that everytime an effect resolves, it takes approximately 2 seconds off the timer of the person resolving the effect. In some cases, (such as kaito's emblem to search library and put a creature in play) there's not even a decline all option if you have no creatures. It just keeps searching your library and you have to manually click decline.
So instead, of this nonsense where players are having their timer expire, set it so that for each effect, you have X seconds to resolve it before it starts impacting your game timer.
You have 5 secons to click decline, and then after 5 seconds you lose 1 second each second.
That's not too much to ask for. That's totally within the realms of regular gameplay.

glad to see this issue got resolved and that i'm still not conceding matches to player who take 10 minutes to play a land on turn 1.
