    So to recap, you launched a hotfix you promised would fix this, broke your game so bad you had to revert everything, gave EVERYONE compensation for the hotfix that broke their games and accounts...

    But you still won't compensate people ACTUALLY effected by the bug you are trying to fix? And also...you still haven't fixed it?

    So according to "rumors" after the next set release in 3 days (Even more us bugged players are missing out on then) they are gonna finally view it as a priority and start working on a fix. So in a few days they will begin to finally tackling a problem they have been unable to solve for years ((Look up previous threads where players from years ago ran into this problem))

    Maybe this time they can solve it for good. And now that we are finally admitting it is a problem, maybe you can begin to talk about "potential compensation" since your hands have been tied except to give us the finger behind those backs. There have been players who have been kicked out of the game, unable to progress because you didn't want to admit this was an issue, and didn't want to talk about how you were going to make it right for us because you were still in the denial stage.

    Well...now that you can admit you have been ignoring our broken accounts, what is the official word on compensation for all the players who have been affected? Why did some players get 10,000 gold while other players were told it was impossible to do?

    Will we get the card decks we missed out on and are now unable to get due to rotating seasons? What about the players that were forced to use Wildcards to get cards other players got for free?

    So many questions, absolutely zero answers or accountability still.

    They have no shame about this, but if enough people saw it, they would be forced to feel the shame they should. Only way they will ever give a ****. They haven't had this missing deck problem for months, they have had it for YEARS. They have already decided a long time ago the number of people effected does not warrant anything, no matter how much money you have spent on an account, they look at you like you are worth $0 after this bug, and they are fine with it.

    Funny they direct everyone to a thread to share their experiences, people share how they are getting compensation, and then Support directly tells the people who report on this given compensation and WANTING to be compensated because their stuff is broken get the run around statement...

    "unable to provide any ETA on resolution for this issue, nor can we provide any information on topics of potential compensation"

    Disgusting.

    @Mr. Czapinski#91597 by the sounds of it you just got lucky. It if were that possible, Support should be doing it for everyone else. More likely they just could see a bit more info with your bug. Did you ever log into your old account to confirm they "unlocked" anything for you? Or did they just say something like....

    "We can see the decks unlocked in the data, so it is just a visual bug" but one that makes you unable to
    1. See your current quests requirements
    2. See the decks you unlock (thus making them unusable? Who cares if there is a flag for "unlocked" in the account if you can't use it, see it, or see how to unlock it?)

    @xtra smol#57716 they ESPECIALLY do not care about you playing with friends. That is exactly what happened to me. Support never once commented on it or cared, it doesn't matter if your group is getting better than you and getting more cards. My friends didn't care at first, and then I showed them the chat with me and support. They couldn't believe how I was being ignored, having my ticket closed multiple times, and ultimately did not even get compensation. After seeing that, they all asked for Refunds ((which they got)) and we all uninstalled together and started playing something where Support listens, cares, and makes things right for you.

    Everyone that spent money on this game can get Refunds from this is you ask for it. It isn't legal for them to leave your account broken like that, and you are in full rights to GET a refund. ((Hell, it's pretty borderline illegal that they request you spend gems to GAMBLE in their tournaments, which are rigged anyways thanks to their algorithms. Even Casinos give you better odds))

    Take every penny back, and withold any money period. This is a shameful game and a shameful company. Do not give them support for this fiasco.

    @Leomar#45811 Support didn't provide me with compensation either, despite a lot of patience on my part, being disregarded and closed out on my ticket several times.

    They do not WANT to hand out compensation to anyone, because that also hurts their bottom line. Not to mention Support gets graded, you can't hand out too much compensation. Same thing happens at flippin Verizon, every aspect of "support" is a constant barter to keep you happy with as little as possible, or just write you off if you are too good at expressing your opinion. Can only keep sheeple happy.

    Meanwhile those that can actually voice how wrong this treatment is get the boot out of the game. They told me to open a new account. That broke things for me. You cannot ask for money for an account, let it get broken, and then suggest people make a new one. It is ludicrous.

    I have been watching things for 3 months now. I have seen multiple updates and seasons roll out. They don't care about this bug. It is an acceptable loss for them, like losing a few crates of Pepsi. They think we are worthless and expendable. If you look back at the forums they have been having this exact quest bug issue crop up time and time again over the lifetime of the game. It is a constant problem, yet they have no clue have to solve it and dare to call it "limited in scope?"

    It is truly a horrible feeling to be treated like that from a company you have nostalgic attachment too.

    Don't hold your breath this update will provide a fix. It was basically advertised pretty plainly a few weeks ago exactly how they feel about this bug. Too quote them...

    We will not be seeing a fix for this with the upcoming update. Not only that, according to support, there is nothing they will do for you (not even compensate you for the trouble, although A RARE FEW have gotten enough gold for some packs as a sorry.

    You will not receive the decks for free, despite missing out on them for months. They will not transfer any assets you have SPENT MONEY ON to an account THAT ISN'T BROKEN.

    They don't care. Speak with your wallet, spread the word about the shame. They need to publicly feel humiliated for this farce and it has to hit their bottom dollar before they will ever provide a fix. Right now, sales have only gone up from this bug due to frustrated "Whale" spenders still wanting new cards.

    This thread provides no help and no support. Speak your mind here, and link to where you have spoken your mind on social media. You can get refunds for any money you have spent if this bug has broken your account, you just need to be loud about it.

    So ridiculous they would rather play these games than just do the right thing.

    It is even funnier because they still have the audacity to run the adds where they claim players get "15 front loaded decks" meaning, the initial 5 composing of one of each of the basic colors. The other 10 are the exact 10 decks new players are getting stuck being unable to earn. Also, just the fact they call the 10 possible free decks "front loaded" when they very much have to be earned, and cannot be earned if your quests bug forever and ever like happens so frequently is just nasty sauce.

    So much disgrace here Wizards of The Coast.

    Yup, limited in scope is BS. At least a thousand people. As was said, if it was a thousand people being able to buy packs for free you bet your buttons it would be HOTFIXED that same day.

    I have never before seen a company admit so openly they do not care about their broken game for the broken players.

    @Sorrog Waltz#02655 your personal deadline is too generous. Others here have had the bug for two months with complete radio silence. At least they have started to learn they need to throw heaps of compensation on some people to silence them. 10,000 gold someone else got? They closed my ticket multiple times before finally sharing this section, where they throw people in to be ignored.

    It is laughable that peoples accounts can be broken like this, and rather than provide everyone compensation, or yknow, making this game breaking bug a priority fix, they spend literally MONTHS gas lighting people and being honestly as rude as possible.

    I already shared my story to Facebook where plenty of my friends have now sworn off of the game as well. I uninstalled it weeks ago because of their utter contempt for their customers and the horrible way I was treated by customer support.

    The only reason I am still here is because I am writing an article for a gaming website about this whole circus. Should make for a good read! Will link when published.

    I have even less decks than both of you @Chassegnouf#14776 and @#snoggo#82124

    I only got Treasure Hunt, Savage Lands, and Sky Patrol. I was pumped to get Control Center because my friends had managed to get ahead of me a day or two so I knew what was coming.

    But then I got hit with the bug. Created my Account August 15th with my friends. They all laughed and continued earning their decks. I put in a support ticket. It kept getting closed. I put up with it for a bit because I had faith in customer support. But they lost it all when they never responded to anything I said, kept closing my ticket, and didn't even bother telling me about this bug section until AFTER I reopened my ticket four or five times.

    And even then, I lost all faith I had when my dailies got bugged as well and there was NO WAY for me to obtain resources any longer. Meanwhile my friends were all ahead of me. But after they saw things still hadn't been fixed and they got to see the screen shots of my "chat" with customer support, we have all uninstalled.

    Not worth the time or effort when it is painfully clear they give zero damns about the community.

    It would be quicker and easier to make a new account like some people have said, and that is the problem. People are doing that, after spending money on their account, because Wizards is telling people things are broken and nothing can be done.

    It should be illegal to accept money for anything at this point. Between rigging the matches with their algorithm, bugged quests so that you cannot get new decks, and just last month there was a bug where people couldn't make progress on their DAILY quests. That means for a period of time, there was literally no way for newer players to obtain resources or cards besides spending money.

    Of course Wizards is fine with these combinations of bugs. The only pain they have felt from it is a boost in sales for the poor souls addicted and wanted to progress, or those they have told have to make a new account and spend more money because they are to incompetent or predatory to do anything about it.

    I've heard people are starting legal action at this point. Best believe I will sign any petition and add my voice to it. At the very least, they have lost a customer in me and all my friends who started to play this with me, only to see the horrible circus that has become a once respected name like Wizards of the Coast.

    Sad and pitiftul.

    I have suffered from this bug for almost 2 months. I have made multiple tickets about it and they have been closed every time. I am furious. They don't give a **** about this. As a new player, this was one of the few ways I could make a better deck and actually stand a chance....

    I am beyond done with this game.
