    Had the same issue. If the ability is gone then there is nothing to maintain control of the creature.

    Re:Lohoris#85001 - Dont understand how that ability working like that is intentional, is it saying it needs the ability to resolve both sides of the effect? If thats the case then flickering Mind Flayer should allow you to control multiple creatures, which makes no sense.
