I'd suggest that a more practical way to implement this feature would be to allow us to select one or more deck archetypes (e.g. aggro, life gain, control, etc.) on the matchmaking screen that you do / don't want to match against.
This would effectively only require a simple and small checkbox list to be added to the matchmaking screen, whereas selecting individual cards requires a much larger browser (with searching and filtering capabilities, like in the Deck Builder).
Internally, MTGA already classifies all your decks based on the cards that are in them, so allowing us to filter the matchmaking algorithm based on this metadata is really what we're asking for here.
For the record, I'm also nauseated by seeing the same decks over and over — especially mono red aggro. I just scoop the instant I see a red card drop on turn one with the word 'haste' on it, as the outcome of that game is already determined at that point.
