    Roping has become a plague, because without any recourse, most players just view/abuse the timers as another game mechanic.

    This is a known issue. For a temporary workaround, launch Arena via the Epic Games Launcher (as opposed to the native MTGA macOS app in the macOS Launchpad) — this should make the Store purchases work.

    I tried contacting Customer Service about this issue, but couldn't get past the automated bot responses.

    There's nothing about this in the Known Issues list (https://mtgarena-support.wizards.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000091646-Known-Issues-List), so I'm not holding out hope for a fix (especially given the huge volume of macOS-related issues that have also gone unacknowledged for the last year or two).

    If you’re using macOS, try close + restart Arena via the Epic Games Launcher, this will allow you to purchase items from the store.

    Or you can try purchasing gems on iOS or Android.

    Flooding this forum with insults every day might not be the best way to elicit a response from Wizards, or support from other players.

    I sympathise with some of your frustrations, but there is a probably better way to voice them.

    Yep, interacting with this card on mobile is problematic.

    On PC though, if you mouse-over the stack (specifically, the activated trigger from Meethook Massacre 2 which prompts you to lose 3 life and return your creature to the battlefield), the creature that died / triggered the ability is displayed next to the stack (so you can tell if it’s a token or non-token creature).

    Update: I can login and play fine when I use a VPN and connect via a server in a different country (US, Japan, Netherlands... basically anything outside of Australia), so this confirms that it's an issue on the WoTC side, and is seemingly region-specific.
