How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Daily Deal packs do not give Golden pack progress

    I play on Android, the game is up to date. Today's special in the store is a MoM pack at 10% off. I bought one, expecting to get 1/10 progress towards a Golden Pack, but instead I remain at 0/10. The prompt under the Golden Pack progress bar says that progress can be earned by purchasing packs from one of the latest sets, including MoM. There is no indication that a daily deal pack is any different from a regular one in this regard. Please increase my Golden Pack progress as advertised.

  2. unable to make purchases mac OS

    Unable to make purchases on Mac OS running Arena through Epic Games Launcher. Clicking on price to purchase any item results in the client endlessly hanging on the "Connecting to Server" screen - the only way to kill it is to exit the client.

    The 1-2 year old reddit suggesting running the client and Epic Games Launcher at the same time as a fix doesn't work.

  3. Arena Store Unusable on MacOS

    Every time I try to purchase anything with real money (not gems or gold), it displays "Waiting for Server" and I cannot do anything. I have to restart Arena to do anything. I was able to log into Arena on my Iphone and make purchases without any issues. So this bug is specific to the MacOS. All software is up to date.

  4. LOTR prerelease boosters lost after update

    I redeemed LOTR prerelease boosters code last weekend. Six boosters was shown locked in the Packs section. After todays update boosters had disappeared and now the store says the code has been used.

    I cannot purchase anything from the store because it get stuck on "waiting for server." I'm on a Mac and it seems like this has been an issue for years...

  6. Can't Purchase Gems in Steam Version of Game

    I recently switched to the Steam Version of the game so that updates would be managed by the steam client. Since doing so, however, I am no longer able to purchase gems.

    I have already confirmed that the Steam In-Game Overlay is enabled both in the Steam General settings and for Magic Arena specifically. My steam wallet has a payment method linked as well.

    After clicking the price on the "Confirm Purchase" screen, the screen returns back to the store, and nothing else happens. There are no errors, or any feedback given. I have attached my log, which seems to…

  7. cannot pre-order from the in-game store > featured section

    Issue description: You cannot preorder items from the In-game Store -

    Steps to reproduce the issue:
    1. Launch the game on Steam
    2. Open the store tab > featured section
    3. Find a pre-order item in the store (e.g. the "Sorin Pack Bundle") and click
    the price

    Expected Outcome: Steam window opens
    Actual Outcome: Error modal: Store Error Store Purchase Failed Unknown

    Ordering non-pre-order items works.

    Can not order the Sorin Pack Bundle in the Steam installation of MTG Arena. The button that should open the steam window to continue the order does not appear,

  9. Purchase of Event Items

    I have 11,325 gold and I went to purchase a sticker set that has only 1 day left to buy. I hit the purchase button, but an error pops up saying I don't have enough gold. I have the dragon stickers in the bundle so the price dropped down to 3,950 gold. I would really like to buy the Baldur's Gate Sticker emotes.

  10. card styles and duplicate protection

    today Outlaws of Thunder Junction was released and I purchased card styles for the fast land duals.

    Then I found out that I cannot apply them to Concealed Courtyard Spirebluff Canal Blooming Marsh inspiring Vantage Botanical Sanctum from the Edition Kaladesh.
    (I already had crafted a playset of all these cards)

    Should everyone really craft the same cards again from edition Outlaws of Thunder Junction in order to be able to use those new card styles ?

    Is this a bug or "works as designed" ?
    Actually it does not make much sense to purchase…

  12. Crashing while opening boosters

    I play arena on my android. Since the first update of thunder junction I have been experiencing the app shutting down on its own. It's been happening mainly in the interface and has recently started happening during games. I have been able to put up with it. What the main issue is that it has started happening when I am opening booster packs. This has happened twice now.   13. Golden packs containing cards that are not standard-legal

    According to https://magic.wizards.com/en/mtgarena/drop-rates, golden packs will include:
    "At least one card per pack will be Mythic from any standard-legal set, 2 cards will be Rare or Mythic from the latest set, and the final 3 cards will be Rare or Mythic from any current standard-legal set."
    This means 4 cards will come from any standard-legal set, and 2 will be guaranteed to come from WOE. Because LTR is neither standard-legal nor the most recent set, these cards should not appear in golden packs.

    As a standard-only player, this hugely devalues golden packs and is honestly incredibly disappointed. I went…

  15. unable to purchase anything from store

    Tried purchasing Bundles and Gems from the store the past 2 weeks, however once I click purchase. The screen is stuck on a "Waiting for Server" loop and I'm unable to complete the purchase. Any feedback or support to correct this would be very helpful.

    I tried to purchase some of the outlaw junction pre-release bundles and the Mastery Pass bundles while they were on sale but were unable to, which was unfortunate.

  19. My oko bundle disappeared

    I bought the OKO bundle ($49.99,50 packs of OTJ,painswalker oko and plainswalker oko’s card style) and the bundle disappeared just now,also disappeared in store[The picture(8449) is the packs interface right now,it is different from the interface I just bought the bunlde(picture 8448)],what happened to my account?
