Fights are creatures dealing noncombat damage to each other. Double strike is irrelevant in these, it only affects which combat damage steps the creature deals damage in.

Most decks play Tyvar which lets creatures activate abilities as if they had haste.
Phyrexian Obliterator has trample, so it would not deal all of its damage to Screaming Nemesis
