I had to verse a commander who conjured the power 9..

There is another mono green commander who conjures free lands.

What is the point of playing Brawl if the core rules aren't followed

I've been matched with countless opponents playing mono green and seeking/conjuring additional lands from thin air.

It's actually ridiculous how unfun and unfair playing against opponents using these cards in Brawl.

I found this comment because I searched 'do people really enjoy alchemy mtg' into google.

Alchemy as a digital only format is fine if it's kept inside its own bubble like the previous poster has said. The issue is, the achemy cards are so over powered (see any conjure ability for example) that it forces players to incorporate these cards in order to compete.

I like many players just enjoy playing with the cards I can own online so I can test if they are worth buying in real life. Versing decks that allow the player to conjure free lands and spells that aren't in the deck feels bad and feels like you're at a significant disadvantage if you don't use them.

There is a simple fix to this issue which is to only allow alchemy cards to be used in the alchemy format. The issue wizards face is that if players don't like alchemy cards then the format will die. On more than one occasion, alchemy cards have stopped me playing arena all together.

Please take this issue seriously and make some adjustments. There is a large amount of dislike for these cards and the format, please listen to your players.

Alchemy cards are blatantly unfair. There is a commander who gives you the power 9 (banned cards in all formats) to your hand, a commander that copies the lands you play, cards that give you cards that aren't in your deck or side board.

What are you meant to do against these cards when you are playing legitiment cards. The only alternative to compete is to play these types of cards which makes the game generally unfun and unenjoyable.

Please leave alchemy cards to their own format.
