I have been experiencing this issue for some time now. It seems someone even located the cause:
Quote: I figured out what is causing it! It only ever happens on the purple, Japanese Kamigawa map. It is the MUSIC that is causing the crash on this specific map. Without fail, when the song gets to the end of its loop-- the audio disappears (apart from the occasional muffled sound effect)!

I am getting a black screen. I am attaching logs and a screen shot. I even tried completely uninstalling MTGA, deleting all user data I could find, and reinstalling and I am still getting the same black screen. I am unable to access any part the game.

I am getting a black screen on launch on my Mac book as of this morning. Yesterday it was working fine.
It says "Loading initial scene", then "Waiting on server", then that goes away and I hear the game music playing, but the screen is black. -
