2. Feedback Bugs and Ideas

   First of all - thank you for this wonderful game! Played 230h+ and I still love it!

   Notes:
   1. I encountered following issues on PC Steam-Purchase.
   2. I was playing both - alone / with friends.
   3. I was playing all characters.

   Bugs:

   • Coldstone Guardian Setbonus 8/8: The buff "Immunity" does not disappear after using whirlwind until you use it again. This is a big gamebraker. I can't die except from Hagedorns Ultimate at 33% and those Duergar Magicans with necrotic magic - I guess they have an ability to remove buffs. Happens with Catti-Brie's Heal too sometimes - won't disappear until you get a new Regeneration buff. Those bugs only appear in Multiplayer.

   • Similar bug like Coldstone Guardian. When I have a buff and want to renew it (f.e. Physical resistance with a potion) it won't do that. It even removes it completly. Only in multiplayer.

   • Some loot-chests dropp the item under the floor and you cannot pick it up. Happens not at all chests, one I know is "Icewinds Wrath Act 1 where the closed door is we have to open with the 2 swords". Solo and Multiplayer.

   • A Lore Item behind a chest in "Order of the light Act 1" can not be picked up and prevents getting the steam achievement. Solo and multiplayer.

   • Some Bosses can be pushed from an edge and this is an instant win. Most of the time they get teleported back to an empty space, but not always. Happend only in multiplayer.

   • Icewind stays infight after a ballista shot and continues fighting but stays immune. Most at 20% HP (4. ballista-shot). Happened in multiplayer, not sure if in solo too.
     By the way - give icewind an ability to whirl around fast - I can solo her by just attacking her from behind and dont get hit anytime. And when she lands - push players a bit back.

   • Sometimes in Multiplayer you get stuck surrounded by an invisible force and you get pushed arround. After a few seconds you get teleportet out but a force pulls us back to that space and we got stuck again. Couldn't come out, had to start the mission over. Happend in Act 3 of Verbeeg Missions at first camp.

   • I think you got already a lot of AI-complaints so I won't mention them here. But not a gamebreaker for me. I even would say the AI got better since you last update.

   • The Pillars where you can get an Attribute-point will clear debuffs (thats good) but they clear buffs too. I don't think thats what they should do.

   • Multiplayer Mode "Invitation only" is buggy. You can't invite Players with this mode. Only in "Friends only".

   • Display-Bug with the News-Flag in Talents and FightOptions. When you hover over it when its a "news" and skill it then, the "news" flag won't disappear - never. You just have to hover everything first, so the flag disappears, and then you skill/buy it. Happens with all characters even in solo.

   • Display-Bug: Damage-numbers - Some numbers won't disappear.

   • Display-Bug: Enemy-health-bar - Some bars won't disappear. Even after a mission when I'm back to the camp.

   • While I am ressurecting another player and I get hit by a Verbeeg-Hook I can finnish the ressurection, although I'm not standing next to the player anymore but next to the Verbeeg.

   • While chaning the Skin of an item, the stats change too. For example a T5 weapon fully upgraded switches from 275 Physical Damage up to 300. The Elemental Damage switches betwenn 90 and 100. And the other stats like armor- or elemental penetration switch between 19% and 20%.

   Ideas:

   • I have runned a lot of missions. My current gold balance is something around 3.5 millions and all gems are out of control from 1k legendarys up to 8k common. I gathered alot of gear of all sets, but I still haven't all of them. I keep T4+T5 Legendarys and T5 Epics. So - there is already a forge in our base and all it does is good looking. It would be great if I could upgrade a T5 Epic to a T5 Legendary with gold and gems at this forge. My suggestion:

   Common -> Uncommon (10k gold - 100 common and 50 uncommon gems)
   Uncommon -> Rare (20k gold - 100 uncommon gems and 50 rare gems)
   Rare -> Epic (30k gold - 100 rare gems and 50 epic gems)
   Epic -> Legendary (40k gold - 100 epic gems and 50 legendary gems)
   The new stats could be random.

   • And what would a forge be if you couldn't change the stats of an item? Like in D&D there are players that want to max out a character. So if you want a lot of HP - go to the forge and pay to change the properties - it could be random - just change them with new random stats. My suggestion:

   Change stats of an uncommon item: 2k gold and 10 uncommon gems
   Change stats of a rare item: 4k gold and 10 rare gems
   Change stats of an epic item: 6k gold and 15 epic gems
   Change stats of a legendary item: 8k gold and 20 legendary gems

   • An upgrade from T4 to T5 I wouldn't recommend. If you want T5, run missions. But after 80 runs of Hagedorn (Difficulty 6) and still not having a T5 Battlerager Necklace is a bit disappointing.

   • Another Idea is to queue for arena pvp fights at the statue in the base. A cool arena idea would be in ruin-style like the base. Not only for a pvp mode (I'm actually not a fan of pvp) but for testing the skills on moving objects. The dummies are great but you cant see the effects of a push back and the dot-damage-ticks are buggy.

   • To lower the gold balance I would recommend to implement the option to reset the ability points. I know it isn't possible in D&D Pen and Paper, but it would be a nice feature. And yes - I skilled wrong with some characters. :-)

   • While I am in a mission I have access to the Symbols of Buffs and Debuffs. Would be great if I have those in the camp too. And a detailed description of it would be really helpful.

   • Skipping the cutscenes should be unskippable if someone never finished this mission.

   • Give Catti-Brie more support/heal abilities and Bruenor more Tank abilities. Like a low-heal-arrow (if she shoots on a player it heals) and the dwarf should have more friend-protecting abilities, like if he raises his shield, the damage wont hit my friends behind me. A taunt would be cool too.

   First of all - thank you for this wonderful game! Played 230h+ and I still love it!

3. Caster class (Sorcerer, cleric, mage)

   The game sorely lacks a caster class -- as has probably been pointed out myriad times since release. So, I'm just here to remind people that the game does, indeed, need the aforementioned, and that it should likely be both a "healer mage", and an offensive "sorcerer". Perhaps both females, given the 1:3 F/M ratio the roster currently sports. If not, then the offensive caster should be female (a "dark" archetype), and a male cleric / healer.

   Whatever the case, without a caster class, the game feels like its in perpetual alpha, and will never gain enough traction to spawn any follow-up titles; let alone, foster its own IP ⚠

4. Solo play, leveling and looting are still painful.

   • I have Combat Power 2073 and I'm still struggling with level 3 challenge which has as recommendation 1500 Combat Power. I'm quite experienced gamer, although not Soulslike gamer. Bosses one shot me, especially with staggering attacks.
   • I have tried and succeeded even in Challenge rating 4 and skipped short rests, but the loot is still absolutely rubbish. With luck, one Epic but usually a lot of common stuff and maybe one rare.
   • Leveling should be faster and more meaningful. My Drizzt is still at level 11 nearly as mortal as in beginning.

5. Disconnection Issues - September Patch

   It has happened several times now where either myself or my whole party get disconnected after we have completed a level. We lost countless loot. It’s very frustrating. We have spent countless hours grinding for gear. I just lost 3 legendary, yesterday I lost 4 and last week I lost 9. I thought the latest patch would fix it but it happened again today. Very disappointing. This game could be great if it wasn’t for all the bugs. Anything you could do would be helpful. Thank you

7. Failed to find a Session

   1. I encountered this issue on XBOX Series X
   2. I was playing solo
   3. I was playing as Bruenor
   4. Trying to switch to online session

   Steps: Tried to switch to online session; both Friends only and Invite Only.

   Result: Failed to find session, every time I tried. On the same wifi network that my wife was on, and she was able to find a session.

   Expected Result: To find a session. Because online multiplayer games have been around for several decades now.

   Suggestion: Fix your online multiplayer game so people can actually play it.

8. Allow Peer to Peer connections

   Hi Guys,

   First off let me say that I am absolutely loving the game!!! The visuals, the combos, just the everything man!!!!

   I know you guys are working on a patch.

   I have a couple of questions though:

   1. Will there be some way to host a server from peer to peer or lol I dunno what it is called exactly. What I mean is my friend and I are both from South Africa and play together but we have a 170 ping and really effects our gameplay. Really sucks as when I play offline it just feels so much better...due to no ping of course. So a option to host directly would be amazing.

   2. Will we be seeing a Wizard/Sorcerer in the future. That would be amazing.

   Hmm, I really thought I had more questions....guess that's it then.

9. Allow to diable moves

   1. PC
   2. Coop and alone
   3. Catti-Brie

   While playing as CB. There are two moves that either need a different activation or need the ability to disable moves.

   Rising Kick (tap forward + Light Attack )
   Viper Fang Kick (Tap Backward + Light Attack)

   These are too easy to trigger and often interrupt other attacks. While doing an aimed attack, if you tap forward or back while spamming the Light Attack. You will trigger one of those moves costing you stamina and interrupting your aimed attack.

10. No co-op play on PC at all

    Just got this game and there is not a single person playing co-op. Unfortunately, I now cannot return the game. Is anything going to be done about the state of the game? I am very disappointed. Won't be waiting for any new games from you guys.

    Please add a disable auto-kick for being idle. I play with friends and 3 minutes to grab a drink and bathroom and then im out of the game

13. Need to revamp loot if the recent patch is the direction the game is headed

    Greetings!

    I've enjoyed my time spent in dark alliance thus far. I play solo and also with a group of friends at times. Loot grinding games are some of my favorite games. However, they are only good when the reward is worth the effort. Before the latest patch it was riding the line of whether the time spent was worth the potential rewards. After this latest patch I fear it has tipped the scale in the wrong direction.

    I do enjoy the increased difficulty that this patch brought! I feel that the way the loot currently works is not a great system for the level of difficulty this game has. With how much effort a player has to put in to getting the highest level gear it needs to rely less on random numbers and needs to be more targeted specifically to what the player wants.

    Obviously, this can be accomplished in many ways but the bottom line is that it needs to be more about player choice rather than RNG.

15. product suggestion

    please let blocking interupt any previous button presses. as when you attack someone and the indicator ring then shows your going to be attacked shortly after you start hitting your combo, you can no longer block untill the animation for those button presses finish. it makes the controls feel laggy and slow, changing it would make the controls feel more fluid and responsive. also add an icon to the ring for imminent projectile attacks so we know when to evade and when to block

16. Echoes of the bood war, never ???

    I give you 0/20 for your client service, and communication, Tuque Games and Wizards. Why ?

    1) In mars 2021 a official article says there are 3 DLC to comes in 2021, 2 free and one payable, echoes of the blood war. I only preorded Dark Alliance special edition because the last character, a sorcerer or mage. For me, a game without a magic character, isn't a Donjons and Dragons game ! But you don't respect your sale terms. We're in 2022 ! It's unacceptable pay a DLC and don't get it at time !

    2) You don't communicate at all with us, your clients ! Are you a team of developers or a group of monks who have taken a vow of silence !?

    3) The excuse "we are late because of the health situation", it's a no sense ! Others still work, like my husband, or me. And you can't ? And it's easier for you, you can write a code at home !

    If the DLC a payed for in mars 2021 don't comes this month, I gonna ask you a full refund. A client is a King, not a pigeon !

17. Reset of attributes points for a large gold cost!

    Hey team, can you please introduce a reset of attributes points for a large gold cost! this means that any progression we have put into a character can be saved and also that we can try out things without having to start a new character from 1 bad choice.

    No idea what these buffs and debuff do. Would be nice to see a description of ALL buffs, debuffs and conditions in game next to the legend icons. Especially a display of more detail in the journal on its own tab.

    2. At the end of an Act game pauses and takes me back to camp, I would like to continue searching area for loot that I have missed or areas that I have not explored.
    3. Sometimes the enemy just stands there doing nothing please fix.
    4. Loot does not upgrade when I choose this option at the small camps, and the same thing when I up the level difficulty.
    5. There is a small delay from when I press an attack button and when my character performs the move, sometimes it’s just around 1 to 2 seconds delay.

20. I accidentally sold my level 5 Sorcere's Sentinel sword and i'm crushed. Please add a buyback system.

    I accidentally pressed A instead of X and now I don't have a level 5 legendary sword. And I probably won't get another one. Please add a buyback system.
