An error occurred while saving the comment lindwurmschlaefer#40802 commentedThis is a bug.
Etrata, Deadly Fugitive gives the ability to every face-down creature you control.
The creature is able to be turn face up for 2ub OR if that does not work, you exile it and "you may cast the exiled card without paying it's mana cost"
fist error is that the card is not exiled and put into the grave.
second is that you can't cast it.normally only creatures or permanents with an according ability can be turned face up - and that aura is being cast from exile, so it should target properly
as far as i know this bug appears at auras, planeswalkers and battles... haven't tested all.
Just did Etrata's trick with a normal enchantment and it worked fine. -

I even got the problem with cards i manifested from my own cards, that for example battles end directly in the grave, not being exiled and then asked for casting it...

the actual card must be a creature or must have actual according abilities like morph or disguise to be turned face-up on it's own. cards (also permanents)without these properties can't be turned face up on their own.
in this case every face-down without the proper properties can't be turned face up,
will stay face down, so the alternate of the Etrata ability to cast it from exile should happen.
