    I am also experiencing this same issue, and it doesn't matter what device is being used. I tried on my PC, my android phone, and my IPad pro, but I still couldn't get a direct challenge to work. Yet, I can still play arena ladder just fine. It has to be an issue linked to specific id's, otherwise it wouldn't follow no matter what device is being used.
