You have to be in Full Control to respond to your own spells and triggers. Otherwsie, Arena goes with the tournament shortcut of passing priority.

It did trigger. But because Ultima ends the turn, all waiting triggers cease to exist.

There has to be a target with greater power on the field under your opponent's side. Not equal or greater, greater, so usually 4+ power. If you can't pick a legal target, the trigger is removed from the stack right away.

They probably had Voice of Victory on the field. Or Myrel. Or Grand Abolisher. Or Kutzil.

In the current Standard, you are not guaranteed to be able to act on your opponent's turn, even if you have mana and spells that would normally allow you to.

Are you using spells that give -X/-X to remove the creatures? If so, the creatures die with 0 power, so
    Vincent gets 0 counters.

You misread. The ban announcement said Counterspell is UNbanned in Historic.

It is a RULE in Brawl, that when a commander goes to the command zone, its owner can remove all perpetual effects on it.

Gems are only given for excess rares and mythics. Excess commons and uncommons only contribute to the vault.

Sounds like you had Leyline of the Void in play. With that, only your creatures, and token creatures die.

Copies of permanent spells enter as tokens when they resolve. They are not created. So any replacement effect looking for tokens being created see nothing when such a spell resolves.

Games against Sparky do not count. You have to face actual players.

You draw a card if the token was attacking when it died, not that it died after having attacked. Attacking creatures only exist during the combat phase. So a sacrifice outside of combat will not satisfy this condition. For any token creatures dying outside of combat, or any that are not attacking, you only get the "otherwise, each opponent loses one life".

In order to prevent that achievement to be awarded when an opponent scoops early (which would make it very easy to get), there is a hidden requirement of you having to cast at least 5 spells in that game. (Putting out a Leyline when the game begins is not casting a spell.)

Yes, it happens with all mobilize tokens, Urabrask's Forge tokens, and other sacrifice or exile at end of combat/turn tokens. This is not a bug, however, it happens according to the rules. Quina, Queen Alenal, and other replacement effects, that make an effect create additional tokens, only change the number and type of tokens created. All tokens created by the original effect plus modifications to that, are then still affected by any additional effects the original effect imposes on the original tokens. This means, they enter tapped, attacking, with counters, get exiled or sacrificed, etc. just like the tokens would be without the modification to the token creating effect.

Volo's tokens are not created. Volo copies spells, and those spell copies ENTER AS TOKENS when they resolve.

Read up on replacement effects (rule 614.). The gist of that is what I was trying to convey.

But the creature does not die. That is the crux here. It goes to exile DIRECTLY. The sequence is simply

Token on the battlefield -> token in exile -> token ceases to exist

And again, there is no trigger from Rest in Peace. Because the exile is NOT a triggered ability.

Also the "token" part is nessessary because Rest in Peace otherwise would only affect cards, and then the token would be able to die.

    Rezzahan#77802 commented  ·

    Your reading skills are subpar:

"If a card OR TOKEN would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, exile it instead."

Also, a replacement effect REPLACES the event. So the permanent never even touches the graveyard. Rest in Peace also only has an ETB trigger to clear all graveyards. The rest is not a trigger. Your expected sequence is not how the game works.

614.1. Some continuous effects are replacement effects. Like prevention effects (see rule 615),
replacement effects apply continuously as events happen—they aren’t locked in ahead of time. Such
effects watch for a particular event that would happen AND COMPLETELY OR PARTIALLY REPLACE THAT EVENT with a different event. They act like “shields” around whatever they’re affecting.

614.1a Effects that use the word “instead” are replacement effects. Most replacement effects use the
word “instead” to indicate what events will be replaced with other events.

Read Rest in Peace again. Nothing died in your scenario, nothing was put into your graveyard. The token was EXILED INSTEAD.

This change was announced a few moths ago.

The rare version is from Dominaria (not Dominaria United, just Dominaria). It won't show up unless you have at least one copy from that set, or selected uncollected in your search filters. Even though the number of copies for any card now counts all versions you have over all sets (that was also included in that change a few months ago), you have to have at least one copy of the card of the version to show up with that version.

Also, telling you that you need a rare wildcard to craft IS telling you the rarity.

    Rezzahan#77802 commented  ·

Lowest rarity printing determines the rarity of the wildcard nessessary to craft a card, regardlesss of the rarity of the version you want to craft. This has been the case for months now, it is intentional, and not a bug.

You lost, because you tried to draw from an empty library. That is a condition to lose the game. (Merely having an empty library does not make you lose, trying to draw a card from one does.)

104.3c If a player is required to draw more cards than are left in their library, they draw the
remaining cards and then lose the game the next time a player would receive priority. (This is a
    state-based action. See rule 704.)

704.5b If a player attempted to draw a card from a library with no cards in it since the last time
state-based actions were checked, that player loses the game.
