This affects all games, whether ranked, tournament, draft, casual, whatever.
If the opponent concedes while you are selecting a color of mana to add from the color wheel, there is no Victory animation and no button to leave the game. The Esc key does nothing. There is no way to leave that individual game/match. The only way to exit is to hard close the entire MTGArena client via Alt + F4 or similar means, such as hitting the Windows key and clicking x on the entire game client window. It's unclear whether awards get applied in such cases, because you have to restart the entire game client from scratch to get back into the application.
This happens for any color wheel, whether you are choosing from 2, 3, 4, or 5 mana color options.
This bug has been happening for years. I'm surprised it hasn't been corrected, because it affects all games, including ranked, draft, tournament, special events, etc.
This bug appears similar to the existing bug titled "Game locks when opponent concedes at ranked". The difference is this happens every time an opponent concedes while the color wheel is displaying on your screen.

This happened to me while playing Brawl. I had to use Alt + F4 to get out. In my case, the gear icon at the top right disappeared when I was selecting a color for Lotus Cobra's trigger, which is when the opponent conceded, and the gear icon never came back after the opponent conceded, leaving me stuck in the game. I couldn't create a log, because I had to Alt + F4. I have a video that shows this happening, but when I attach it to my bug comment, this interface won't post the comment, the post comment button just spins indefinitely. Ironic, a bug with in interface that we have to use to report bugs. It happens.

This just happened to me as well. I'm currently in the opening hand selection of Brawl and haven't been able to do anything. My opponent, who "goes first", is selecting whether to free mulligan, and his timer ran out but is frozen at the end, and has been so for minutes. All I can do is play with the pets or concede.

I have the same issue. When starting the game client (every time), the game attempts to load, gets to the point of loading the initial scene, then waits for the server, and then just displays a black screen with the usual game cursor and music. The game sits on the black screen no matter how long I wait after that point. Troubleshooting efforts that I have already taken (which have not solved the problem) include: restarting the computer; adjusting firewall settings; flush DNS cache and winsock reset (with additional computer restart); router restart; temporarily disable firewall for game client restart. I am in the USA and not using a VPN. This has been an issue for 18+ hours.
I also noticed the following issues mentioned in my player log:

This game behavior also happens any/every time the opponent concedes while you are selecting a color of mana to add from the color wheel (any time they concede while the color wheel is displayed on your screen).
