If this happens in BO3, you can't sideboard (even if you alt-f4 and rejoin the match) and will lose the match due to timeout.

How is this still in the game? It's been 6 years.

2025 and this is still happening. Opponent conceded, but no option to end match. Esc does not work, so only option is to Alt + F4 out of game. I did get the daily win though.

Still happening, happened when I was tapping for mana to cast a creature spell and my opponent conceded before I was able to finish casting that spell.

This also happens when getting mana from creatures and treasure. I have had this happen 4 times now.

I see that another commenter noted they manually tapped lands. This is the first time I have experienced this issue, but it happened when my opponent conceded after I manually tapped lands for mana.

* Steps to Reproduct: Tap lands, cast Buried in the Garden, Buried in the Garden trigger and Hardbristle Bandit triggers go on the stack, opponent concedes.
* Expected Result: Game ends with Victory overlay; I can exit with a click anywhere or click "View Battlefield" button in top right
* Actual Result: Game ends without overlay; clicks do not close the match; "View Battlefield/Exit Match" button not visible

Playing Outlaws Jump in. Opponent conceded and game froze

Just had the same thing. Opponent concedes while I'm manually tapping my Battlefield Forge for white and the game freezes

Same bug. I was manually tapping lands. Opponent concede. Match never ends. Game is not "frozen". I can still interact with the battlefield, but no way to end / exit the match. Escape doesn't work. Have to Alt+F4 to shut down game.

This bug has been happening to me almost every game since the newest WOE alchemy update. It would happen infrequently previously but has gotten worse.

For the past year it would usually happen while I was choosing targets for Diligent Excavator so my suspicion is that cause is the opponent concedes at some point before the ability is put onto the stack.

When I'm controlling an opponent with Emrakul's ability and they concede. The game doesn't end, and I'm left in limbo. There is no top menu, so I have to ALT+F4 to exit the game. It's unclear if I get a win or loss.

Opponent concede and their avatar went dark, but the game continued. I couldn't exit the match and the gear menu icon was missing. I had to ALT+F4 out of the game.

This happened to me while playing Brawl. I had to use Alt + F4 to get out. In my case, the gear icon at the top right disappeared when I was selecting a color for Lotus Cobra's trigger, which is when the opponent conceded, and the gear icon never came back after the opponent conceded, leaving me stuck in the game. I couldn't create a log, because I had to Alt + F4. I have a video that shows this happening, but when I attach it to my bug comment, this interface won't post the comment, the post comment button just spins indefinitely. Ironic, a bug with in interface that we have to use to report bugs. It happens.

I was playing in the Brawl queue and this happened. Opponent conceded and I was active in the game, could not exit the game. I could still emote. I used Windows Task Manager to quit.

I was playing a Ranked Match and my opponent conceded the first game. The program did not move furder and we could not keep playing. Y waited for 10 minutes or so. i could not exit the game or anything.
