Still happening, happened when I was tapping for mana to cast a creature spell and my opponent conceded before I was able to finish casting that spell.

This has just happened to me when my opponent conceded while my Pond Prophet's ability was on the stack. They were tapped out, I had mana open.

I have Extremely Detailed Logging enabled (because I use a couple of deck trackers), so my complete log file is much too large to reasonably upload here, but I've found where the match appeared to begin (the final instance of "OnSceneLoaded for MatchScene" in the log) and attached the tail end of the log starting at that point.

Have encountered this a few times now. As a known bug, this seems to see some use as a malicious exploit in losing matches. Screenshot attached of latest occurrence (not an event that felt malicious)

For me, it's happened twice. In both cases, I was playing the same deck. I was choosing what color of mana when I (was about to) sacrifice a Courier's Briefcase, and the opponent conceded when the color wheel was up. This left me stuck the game I'd won.

just happened to me while manually tapping 'Gwenna, Eye of Gaea', opponent concedes the game do not go to victory screen nor does the UI-button for the menu remain on screen. Only way to exit the 'match' seems to be to force close the program.

This game behavior also happens any/every time the opponent concedes while you are selecting a color of mana to add from the color wheel (any time they concede while the color wheel is displayed on your screen).

This affects all games, whether ranked, tournament, draft, casual, whatever.

If the opponent concedes while you are selecting a color of mana to add from the color wheel, there is no Victory animation and no button to leave the game. The Esc key does nothing. There is no way to leave that individual game/match. The only way to exit is to hard close the entire MTGArena client via Alt + F4 or similar means, such as hitting the Windows key and clicking x on the entire game client window. It's unclear whether awards get applied in such cases, because you have to restart the entire game client from scratch to get back into the application.

This happens for any color wheel, whether you are choosing from 2, 3, 4, or 5 mana color options.

This bug has been happening for years. I'm surprised it hasn't been corrected, because it affects all games, including ranked, draft, tournament, special events, etc.

This bug appears similar to the existing bug titled "Game locks when opponent concedes at ranked". The difference is this happens every time an opponent concedes while the color wheel is displaying on your screen.

This happened to me on windows. Seemed to be because I was in the process of tapping my Raugrin Crystal to pay the 1 mana for my Mentor of the Meek.

Is there some fix for this?? I thought it was kind of weird I had to ctl alt del and go to manager just to quit out.

Not cool, he was losing then ride the rope until the last second and quit, bugging the client on my end. Cost me a w 2 times so far, so they know what they’re doing.

Same happened to me but on an iphone. The opponent conceded, but then the game froze, and the only way to restart arena was to force quit the game. When I did I got no credit for the victory.

1. Give us the steps to reproduce the bug - My opponent disconnected during ranked game, likely on purpose. I don't know if they pulled internet, alt f4, or just shut off the computer.

2. Note which platform you’re using (PC, Mac) - PC

3. Enter the actual results you’re experiencing - I was soft locked into the game. My opponent didn't concede, time wasn't ticking down, even esc wasn't bringing up menu. Eventually had to ctl alt del my way out.

4. Enter the expected results of the feature - my opponent to concede and to be returned back to the menu.

Problem occurred while selecting colour of mana for Sanctum of FruitfulHarvest.

My opponent conceded the game before I could make the choice. The "Leave the Battlefield" button did not appear when he conceded. The colour circlke was still visible, but I could not choose a colour to clear it.

I was left with no way of exiting the battlefield and returning to the initial scene other than to forcibly close Arena by signing out of Windowsa, or by ending the Windowws task.

CVould you find a way for a player to leave the battlefield in such conditions.

When playing with the combo Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, lotus Cobra, and Ruin Crab, opponents see the light and concede. if they concede during the triggers for some reason the game doesn't end. It doesn't show victory or defeat, you can't complete the triggers, the options wheel is gone. You can still show/hide battlefield and click on the field/card so the game isn't frozen. However the opponent doesn't "rope out" and your left just sitting there. I tried to ALT f4 and nothing happened, i had to close out the game and restart it. This happens everytime an opponent concedes during the triggers. Seems to happen the most during the lotus cobra trigger.

MTGA.exe froze after opponent conceded match. Game will not respond to any keyboard commands or mouse clicking, and exiting out of program through Esc menu is not possible.

I play a land, LC triggers, opponent concedes before I can select mana type and then MTG arena is stuck. Can click on things but cannot leave the match. Had to quit out.
