The technical side of this game and the fundamentals need to direly be improved. We need to finally step into the 2020s... But then again, the mobile app is so horrible too. It doesn't have 120 hz support for mobile devices, even though all the devices it should run on going forward have that. My boyfriend couldn't even finish the colour challenges on his iPad because well... the last one just didn't start, so he was barred from the rewards thereafter (Mastery Pass, he'll never have any rewards from that on his iPad). The mobile experience is stuttery as heck, some card artworks scale up to good tablet resolutions, others become pixelated as heck. I wish we would get Ultra-Wide support on desktop but observing the current technical state of this game (both desktop and mobile) and how much they care about either, I don't think improving the experience in that regard is their focus. Their focus is new sets for us to spend money on. Everybody does that anyway, so why even bother improving the fundamentals? There's no playtime or match statistics, the UI is still super barebones, the experience is stuttery browsing your collection... I once queued, aborted and then unknowingly entered a game while I was in my collection. When I queued again, I realised the match had already had several turns that I just passed because... well, I was in my COLLECTION! SO much stuff to say, so little time. I wish every year but I'm always disappointed. What about all the features we were promised but never got? Etc. etc. Wishing for 21:9 is valid and noble but it is such a lost cause if there's ever been a lost cause.
