Having the same issue. It's a bit random. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. However, if the bug happens once in the game, the sideboard will not be viewable for the rest of that game.
I've only tried it in draft so far. Don't know if it happens in constructed as well.

Just had it happen to me as well. Opponent killed one of my creatures with flame-blessed bolt, then when I cast Eruth, I got the option to cast the creature that had been exiled.
