To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Instructions or in-app help
I looked at the companion match tracker, specifically Commander. I was confused by the tax feature, the damage feature, and the counters. Also, there was only one page where I saw a reset or clear all. And the mana counter seemed simple, but why?
It would be a benefit to have actual help button on each page. If not that, then a user manual that people could read so they know how each feature works, or at least what it means.

Card Text
The way some text is written on some cards does not make sense with the rulings on those cards. Take Hithlain knots for example. You have 3 separate things that happen, you tap, you scry and draw. Because it is written with periods, rather than commas these should be mutually exclusive actions from the card meaning that even if 1 can't happen, the other two still should. A better way to write these things, if the intent is that if one fizzles they all do, would be Tap target creature then scry 1 and draw a card. This would make…

Reset life totals on life tracker
I switched apps briefly to take a quick picture, and when I returned to the life tracker everything had been reset. I clicked the “continue game” option, but the only thing that had been saved was the fact we were playing a 3 player game and not even the fact we’d been playing commander. Totally useless and I’m pretty upset that our game got ruined because of poor app suspension.

Card db: pictures are not sharp
Pictures of the cards are not sharp. Even when zoomed in they are a bit ibscure. Readable, but foggy a bit.

I cannot push the button in red frame of uploaded file.
I think I cannot push the red frame button because yellow frame icons are superimposed over the button.
The same accidents occurs on other screens. ( ex. submitting result )

Unable to Report a Bug Through App
So, I have two problems and one suggestion, itemized below.
Problem 1: In an effort to test the "search" function, I typed in "retribution", which got 11 results. One of these was Dorothea, Vengeful Victim, which didn't actually have the word in its title. When I clicked on the card, I saw two versions, the alt-art monochrome, and the original. But when I checked the oracle text, one of them (the regular art one) had the text for Dorothea's Retribution instead. It was obviously intended to show the back face of the card rather than just a different art. I'm…

In advanced search the third Option for Color filtering isnt readable.

Giving wrong text for card.
The advanced search was set to creature, exactly red, and Limited Edition Alpha. Each card I looked at had the oracle text for dragon whelp. I don’t know if this is and issue for others, but this is for me. (I’m on an iPhone if that helps)

Mais je voudrais revenir sur votre application Companion que les joueurs de Magic doit sûrement utiliser. Votre application est bien faite, que ce soit pour de l'organisation de partie ou les points de vie. Its more a question on ruling if you have temple of altisaur out and you cast star of extinction does everything die or if you have dinosaurs out does only temple of altisaur die?

View different versions of a card from the same set
When look threw newer cards and I come across one with an alt-art/borderless, that’s the only one I can see of that set. It would be nice if in the set occurrences list, there would be separate options for main and special art cards. (ex. Abundant Harvest would have MH2(1) for the main and MH2(2) for the special art)

“Historic” isn’t a filtererable search option
If I want to net deck in my spare time I can’t use the card database to build a historic legal deck because historic isn’t a format option, can we make this happen?

companion app on Android is very slow
First of all: it's a great app that is very useful for events! Its functions work pretty good.
But ...
The app is generally very slow.
it's slow on startup. it takes many seconds (like 5-10 seconds) to start the app and start doing something with it. I don't understand why an app like this should be this slow on startup.
it's also very slow and laggy when navigating around, especially when I'm at an event and I'm navigating my pairings or standings and such.
It's actually annoyingly slow. And I have a very powerful smartphone (Google Pixel 2 XL).…2 votes -
Ruining the game
Ruining the game with cards that kill mana, that reveal your hand and steal your cards and take control of your cards. I enjoy playing not being a spectator and or ***** to another opponent.

Prismatic omen
¿Cuándo van a actualizar las reglas de prismatic omen? , no está incluyendo los wates y también son tierra básica, ahora tengo duda también, de si las tierras nevadas deben ser tomadas como tierras basicas por separado de las que no son nevadas.

Mein Lieblings laden wird nicht mehr unterstützt
Mein lieblings laden zum Magic the gathering spielen in ulm (Comic Home) wird leider nicht mehr unterstützt was ich sehr schade finde da ich nirgends so eine heimische Atmosphäre hatte wie dort und mich nirgends so willkommen fühle wie im comic home.
Ich würde mir sehr wünschen das das comic home wieder unterstützt wird da es nur wenige solche läden gibt die so einen gute job machen und so eine Atmosphäre schaffen.
Ich werde die events vermissen und werde mir überlegen ob ich ohne das noch weiterhin magic spielen möchte.1 vote -
Comprehensive Rules PDF 20240802
This pertains to the PDF uploaded to magic.wizards.com/en/rules
The Modern Horizons III (20240607) release had a featured called "Fast Web View" enabled that made it load faster? My browser also displayed a feature called "Document Outline" that made it easier to navigate.
No idea if you have a say in the Document Outline but Fast web view seems like a common courtesy
