To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback

Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.



Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)

If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.

If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work

Choose the Category that describes your problem.

Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.

  1. Summarize the problem
  2. List the steps you took that led to the problem
  3. What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
  4. What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps

Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.

  1. Open the life tracker and start a game
  2. Try to remove or add life to my life total
  3. Actual: my life total didn’t change
  4. Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

1.  What type of device you’re using
2. What version of your operating system you’re using
3. A screenshot of the issue (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
4. Whether re-starting the application and attempting the steps again solved the problem

  2. Card name autofill

    A helpful feature when looking up cards would be autofill. If you're unsure how to spell a card name, it would be very helpful to have an auto-fill feature.
    (Similar to how tcgplayer works)

  3. Card Database; Name of the Sets; German Translations

    It would be nice to have all available Sets in the card database translated into German. The App itself is in German already, which is good. But if you look for a certain Set of cards and you only know the german title its kind of a hassle.

  4. Third color Option wont Show up in German

    In advanced search the third Option for Color filtering isnt readable.

  5. App Features Suggestions

    Would love to see definitions of actions/keywords, kind of like a library. Pun intended.

    Also, would be great if we had a day/night counter! As I use other deck types, I'll update this list; don't you worry. ;)

  6. disappeared table no.s

    this weekend, players who use ver.1.3.13 can't find table numbers on companion.
    each round, judges had to find their table on WEL.

  7. Database of Non-Card MTG Merchandise.

    Please include a database of currently printing (non card) magic the gathering merchandise. Specifically the Current "Magic" comic series. I have been unable to find an official or even an unofficial list of published issues.

  8. Top 8 Positions appear different than win%

    9th place has a better GW and OGW than 8th place, but they are tied for OMW.

  10. Add x mana cost search

    Is it possible to add the (X) (symbol) mana cost in the search not many app does it and it would be usefull when you search a certain type of cards

  11. Card Database Feature Ideas

    Hello,
    Here are a few feature ideas for the new Card Database

    -Another button next to Printed and Oracle that says and goes to Rulings
    -Under Available Formats your should be able to click on the formats for more information about those formats. I would put them in a stack like:
    Standard – More Info (Hyperlink)
    Brawl – More Info (Hyperlink)
    -Suggestions in search if you can’t find what you are looking for.
    -Blue text is not hyperlinked and feels like it should be. This might be a great feature to find other creatures with the same type or some…

  12. Quotations when searching

    I tried searching for "search your library for a card" but it returned resulted that didn't have that exact quote. I think it searched without the quotation marks.

    Were you on Android or iOS? And what was the specific search? Did you use “Advanced Search,” then “Rules Text,” then add your specific search term?

  13. Card Images

    Please update the older card images to the newer, high resolution type we see for sets released in the last couple years. Way easier to read.

  14. Can we get a hold down for rapid life gain/loss?

    I play a Firesong and Sunspeaker deck in Commander, so sometimes I need to gain like 200+ life. The capacity to hold the button down to rapidly gain would be great.

  15. Can not leave events

    When an event organizer does not accept your join request the event stays in your list forever. There is no way to withdraw from the event.

  17. Creature Types are not updated

    When searching for a creature by creature type, the results are incomplete. This occurs because creature types that have been updated on older cards are not appearing.

    For example, Rootwater Alligator is still displayed in Oracle on the app to have the Alligator creature type. On desktop, Gatherer correctly shows it as a Crocodile creature type.

    This current feature is annoying, as accessing Gatherer on mobile asks me to use Companion, but I can't rely on the data on Companion until this is fixed.

  18. Let TO have history of players emails for the store

    Let a store owner or TO be able to save a history of players from previous events emails. It's suck to keep having to give them my email address every FNM. It wastes a lot time

  19. Updating Gatherer Mana Search

    So something for the Companion app (and Gatherer in general) that I feel could be quite useful is refined mana value searches. In particular the ability to filter by even Converted Mana Costs, odd CMC, and or provide the optional IS/OR options to them.

    As an example: This will help search for all cards legal that a Companion Obosh could play in its deck when considering the search even and odd CMC options. While the IS/OR option (obviously allowing us to select two+ options in the case of OR) would allow us to narrow the search further, like one CMC…

  20. Manually assign / change tabel numbers

    For people in a wheelchair it would be very helpful, if there would be an option to manually assigne or change the table number. It is a massive hassle to get to the table in smaller locations. The old system allowed the organizer to do so. Please bring that feature back so disabled people can get a fixed table for the event.
