To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback

Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.




Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)

If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.

If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work

Choose the Category that describes your problem.

Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.

  1. Summarize the problem
  2. List the steps you took that led to the problem
  3. What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
  4. What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps

Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.

  1. Open the life tracker and start a game
  2. Try to remove or add life to my life total
  3. Actual: my life total didn’t change
  4. Expected: my life total goes up or down

You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

1.  What type of device you’re using
2. What version of your operating system you’re using
3. A screenshot of the issue (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
4. Whether re-starting the application and attempting the steps again solved the problem

  1. Unable to Select Companions for Deck Customization

    I can change Avatar, I can change Sleeves, but the Select Companions screen shows only the current companion for each deck and no other Companion can be selected.

  2. Companion app won't open on iPhone

    When I try to open the Companion app on my iPhone, the app won't open. After tapping on the icon, the splash screen is shown for around 10 seconds. But then the app crashes without any notifications.

    I use an iPhone 13 mini on iOS 26.2. The Companion app is up2date on version 1.10.6. Restart of the iPhone had no effect.

    In the app under the ruling for Karn Liberated is says

    2020/08/06
    Players won't have any counters or emblems they had in the original game.
    but according to the rule C.R. 726.1

    Under what is now C.R. 726.1, a "game that is restarted immediately ends. No players in that game win, lose, or draw that game. All players in that game when it ended then start a new game" in accordance with C.R. 103.   5. Previous sets/printings are missing from companion app

    The details page of a card in the companion app used to list all printings. It now only lists the most recent printing. You can still access previous printings if you first filter by set, but this isn't useful if you're just trying to see all previous printings.

    I think this bug coincides with the redesign of the Gatherer website, which turned the list of printings into a drop-down which appears at the top.

    The drop down is cool, as is the "All prints" view (e.g. https://gatherer.wizards.com/prints/llanowar-elves/en-us), but it would be nice if the list of printings was still…

  6. Bump notifications for events

    I think it would be great if there was a way to set up bump notifications for particular event searches. So like if I do rcqs within 100 miles of a set location, and someone posts a new event, it would give me a notification that an event has been posted

  7. Not enough promo cards

    I've participated in an event yesterday on the store PLAYER'S SPOT in Barreiro, Portugal. Unfortunately they didn't have enough promo cards for all, as you've only sent them 8 (Yuna, Grand Summoner) and we were more than 20 players. Please send more promo cards to LGSs, so we don't get disappointed people.

  8. Location freeze

    Store location freezes and app needs to be closed to continue. App is up to date and is able to be used in store events.
    This issue has been happening for years and still isn’t fixed.

    I have had repeating opponents 6 weeks in a row there needs to be some kind of tracking to make sure you don't match with the same person multiple drafts in a row

  12. Notifications for Dropped Event

    I was dropped by the owner from an event. This was good, as I couldn't make it. But all night, I kept getting notifications from Companion about the event! Round starting, round ending, event details, it was constant -- for an event I did not attend, and was dropped from! Turn notifications off for dropped ppl!

    Noticed this exact idea was posted before and an employee replied "soon" in 2021. I had no idea, it's 2025 and this is my first impression of this app. That's not a great sign!

  17. Widescreen Bug STILL EXISTING AFTER 3 YEARS

    The bug where Arena drops out of Fullscreen resolution for widescreen monitors every time you click on anything in the game is back with this latest update.

    It sucks, and this time a registry edit doesn't fix it. Y'all need to either fix this stupid stupid bug or stop doing updates that undo our homemade fixes of this stupid problem. Seriously, fixing this will take one person one afternoon to make it not be a problem ever again. I'd do it for you, but you can't afford my rates
