To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.
Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work
Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Account and Security
Please add options to create an account and sign in using Apple, Google, Discord, and Twitch. These features are available on D&D Beyond but missing from Magic The Gathering apps. Also, adding two-factor authentication would enhance security. Thank you!

Ranking system improvement
Why is the ranking system more based on performance of opponents instead of your own performance.
I played a tournament and went 2-0 2-0 1-2 2-0, a player who I beat went BYE 0 - 2 2-0 2-1
He then finishes higher than me in ranking which makes no logical sense. I feel like it’s better to win 2-1 instead of 2-0

Format queue
I suggest that users are able to indicate while they're at a companion LGS, that they are willing / ready / able to participate in other forms or formats of magic, i.e. being at a commander event and being willing to jam a couple games of modern or pauper during downtime or after the event concludes.
I feel that this would make playing at LGSs a more build-your-own experience, especially with formats that don't see widespread or frequent events such as pauper, dandan, pre modern, tiny leaders, etc.

My event registration history doesn’t include any events that i attended from Sept. 2022-March 2023 or March 2023-May 2025. Really strange but would love to see that data if this is just a bug and will get fixed later!

Identity theft and fraud
After updating the companion app, I found that a store has been continuously using my account to register for competitions. This behavior has lasted for nearly a year, and there have been hundreds of matches.I have been in Sichuan Province since 2025. However, this store is located in Guangdong Province, China, which is completely different and thousands of kilometers away from me. I have never been there at all. I have no idea how they get my account？

Gatherer Inflexibility Fix Needed
Right now when I search on the Gatherer on mobile, either online or in the Companion app, I cannot get it to search for two terms on the same card that are not right next to each other, a functionality I swear it has on PC.
(Using [ text ] to indicate what is typed in the actual field to avoid confusion wrt quote-marks)
For example, if I run a search for [ flying, vigilance ], no matter how I word it, it will only find the 165 cards with flying followed directly by vigilance. It will NOT find the…

Unban
Please unban Jeweled lotus. After purchasing the card full price (200$), the card was banned 3 months after. I barely got to play the card. It should be a game changer card and not a banned card.

Planechase
Celestine Reef, Horizon Boughs, Mirrored Depths, and Tember City only show being legal in pauper. Other planechase cards show being legal in pauper, commander, vintage, and legacy. Cannot find any announcements or rationale as to why only those cards would only be legal in pauper. Is an issue in online Gatherer as well as in Companion app.

Chaotic Good Brewing recently closed and no longer hosts Magic events yet is listed as doing so which may entitle them the pre releases that do not go to the public. Please review their listing to avoid confusion among Magic players.
