To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback

Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.



Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)

If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.

If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.

  1. Summarize the problem
  2. List the steps you took that led to the problem
  3. What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
  4. What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps

Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.

  1. Open the life tracker and start a game
  2. Try to remove or add life to my life total
  3. Actual: my life total didn’t change
  4. Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

1.  What type of device you’re using
2. What version of your operating system you’re using
3. A screenshot of the issue (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
4. Whether re-starting the application and attempting the steps again solved the problem

  2. Wrong event listed

    I have entered my events in to the companion app but the wrong event is showing up for one of them. It is the 1st event shown. Should be a 4:30pm event according to my order but shows a 6pm time for something different.

  3. Stores not organizing events

    2 stores in Ljubljana, Slovenia post draft and sealed events but they never happen. Events are up weekly. One store doesnt even sell MTG cards... My guess is they keep the promo cards and get cheaper deals on orders because they "organize events" but in reality they just resell everything. This is completely non ethical and i would say against your terms and conditions.

  5. Double sided cards aren’t working in app but work online

    Online website begs me to use the companion app and can bug out if I scroll too quickly and have to leave and renter. I downloaded the companion app wanting to look at the Kaldheim cards but I can’t see the backsides but it works on the online version

  6. My game just played by itself?

    i was playing a game of historic best of one and for some reason it my game just started using all the cards in my hand wish i would have been able to record it or something but i had 2 cards in hand wasn't pressing anything and i just played the cards in my hand and lost me the game anyone else have a problem like this

  11. The event I am participating in is not displayed.

    The event I am participating in is not displayed on the Companion.
    The application version is up to date and reloading does not fix it.
    When I put the event code in, it's fine, but when I switch from one match to another to manage my life in the application, for example, I can't get back to the information about the match.

  13. Gatherer search no longer works

    The recent overhaul of gatherer.wizards.com is terrible. gatherer.wizards.com was the absolute best mtg search engines available with the ability to customize your search with AND and OR operators. You can no longer do these customized searches and even for simpler searches it is virtually unusable. Please put it back to the way it was.

    I have spoken with the venue and they have no record of me paying for or attending these events. Twice in the last month, I was added to an event then got an ‘event ended’ message shortly after. I have also checked with the venue and they have not accidentally submitted the wrong player or anything similar
