Before You Create a New Report


Before creating a new report, please enter the issue in the Issue Title field below to see if your issue has already been reported. It is a good idea to limit this to a few key words, like a device name or specific feature.

Example: webcam not found (Note: Partial words may not bring up results, we recommend to try webcam instead of cam or web cam)

If your issue has been reported already, click the VOTE button so that we know you've experienced that bug as well. You can also leave a comment if you'd like to add to the conversation about that bug or provide additional information you think might be useful.

If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Example: Logitech Camera doesn’t work

Choose the Category that describes your problem.

Use the Describe your idea field to detail what happened, and provide the following information to allow us to investigate the issue:
  1. Summarize the problem
  2. List the steps you took that led to the problem
  3. What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
  4. What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps

  1. Open SpellTable and start or join a lobby
  2. Select the gear icon to configure inputs
  3. Actual: No input devices are detected under “Camera Source”
  4. Expected: My camera can be selected for “Camera Source”

Additional Information to Provide


You can provide additional information that can also help us perform an investigation quickly. Great information to include:
  1. The brand, model, and/or type of device you’re using (USB webcam, Android/Tablet, iPhone/iPad, etc.)
  2. The version or your operating system you’re using (i.e.: Windows 10, MacOS Big Sur, Android 11, iOS 14, etc.)
  3. Your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.)
  4. A screenshot of the issue or any error messaging received (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
  5. The last are simple checks for any camera/microphone issues you might encounter:
  • Ensured permission has been granted for your Camera and Microphone through your preferred browser: Use your camera & microphone
  • Ensured that no other programs are using your Camera or Microphone (you can find information on how to perform this check by searching online)
  • Temporarily disabling any Anti-Virus programs that might disable camera and microphone access (even if you’re already granted it)
  • Tested your camera is working with Online Mic Test

  1. Disabled my audio / microphone for headset

    When i join a lobby my headset breaks until i reset my computer. and if i try to rejoin the spelltable the camera will then not work as well. I have tried making sure no devices selected by spell table are the headset and it continues to break the audio / microphone involved with the headset

  2. Receiving error : Exiled

    Receiving error : Exiled - it looks like you navigated away from the page or you were removed by the host. Click rejoin to go back into the game or go to the lobby to find another game. I bought two new windows 10 computers and got the same error. It works fine on my windows 7 machines... I am the host and just testing my own room and getting exiled. Is there a setting that needs changed? Please help! Thanks

  3. Unable to Locate or Create a Game

    No games available, games refuse to be created, have tried across 4 players' accounts. Spelltable not working, known problem for the last 5 hours of this ticket. Trying to load an older existing room places in loading menu limbo with no end.

  4. Extremely Laggy

    I'm having issues with spelltable running extremly poorly no matter what I do. I've tried google chrome and edge, enabling and disabling hardware acceleration, disabling all my addons and closing other tabs, nothing helps. It can't be my hardware as I'm running an ryzen 5 5600x, 32 GB of ram, and a gtx 1070. It's also not my internet as my computer is connected to my router through ethernet and not wifi, and I have gigabit internet. I'm at my wits end and I just wanna play magic with my friends.

  5. Unable To Join Game

    When trying to join a game I got the same issue. I have to let it sit on joining for 10-20 minutes before it will actually connect.

    My pod finished a game before I connected.

    is there any way to disable card auto-detection? it creates lag on my gameplay.

  7. Receiving Error: URL for the Room

    preface i was able to join a couple weeks ago fine.

    iphone 11 pro max
    ios 15.1
    safari and chrome

    nov 2 2021
    i attempt to join a game, with the same settings ive always use.
    scan qr code, get prompt to switch camera.
    click join, i see the progress bar go white, blue then it refreshes and brings me back to the pervious screen for the camera switching.
    click join again same thing except this time i get a blank screen saying

    "a problem repeatedly occured on "the url for the room""

  8. Spelltable Signs Out Frequently

    Whenever I refresh the page or click onto a match Spelltable signs me out and brings me back to the "sign in" page. This has been happening on and off, with periods where I can't stay signed in due to this error (and other times where it doesn't happen at all).

    Could you please give me advice on how to avoid this?

  9. Unable to Join by Invite Link

    I click the link to my friends spelltable game, but I put click "join game" and nothing happens. I tried a different pc, mac and pc. and I even tried a different account. I reset the router, and even tried to use my phone as a hotspot. I also used a different browser, and reset browser settings.

  10. Unable to Log In on Mobile Site

    Hi,

    I'm trying to set up SpellTable on my Android phone with the intent of using it is a webcam, but whenever I click either the "Get Started" or "Login" links, it just refreshes the same landing page.

    The troubleshooting guide isn't helpful because I'm not able to get past this very first step to download the app in the first place.

    I am on the most recent Android and Chrome release, and have tried connecting from wifi and 5G. I even tried from Firefox with the same result, which implies it's something on my end with my phone? No…
