Before You Create a New Report


Before creating a new report, please enter the issue in the Issue Title field below to see if your issue has already been reported. It is a good idea to limit this to a few key words, like a device name or specific feature.

Example: webcam not found (Note: Partial words may not bring up results, we recommend to try webcam instead of cam or web cam)

If your issue has been reported already, click the VOTE button so that we know you've experienced that bug as well. You can also leave a comment if you'd like to add to the conversation about that bug or provide additional information you think might be useful.

Use the Describe your idea field to detail what happened, and provide the following information to allow us to investigate the issue:
  1. Summarize the problem
  2. List the steps you took that led to the problem
  3. What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
  4. What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps

Additional Information to Provide


You can provide additional information that can also help us perform an investigation quickly. Great information to include:
  1. The brand, model, and/or type of device you’re using (USB webcam, Android/Tablet, iPhone/iPad, etc.)
  2. The version or your operating system you’re using (i.e.: Windows 10, MacOS Big Sur, Android 11, iOS 14, etc.)
  3. Your browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.)
  4. A screenshot of the issue or any error messaging received (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
  5. The last are simple checks for any camera/microphone issues you might encounter:
  • Ensured permission has been granted for your Camera and Microphone through your preferred browser: Use your camera & microphone
  • Ensured that no other programs are using your Camera or Microphone (you can find information on how to perform this check by searching online)
  • Temporarily disabling any Anti-Virus programs that might disable camera and microphone access (even if you’re already granted it)
  • Tested your camera is working with Online Mic Test

  1. camera flipping

    when using mobile camera as per normal
    1. join lobby on pc to get qr code
    2. scan qr code on phone (back camera is working to scan/in other apps)
    3. attempt to swap camera does not work (ie to change to back camera), can join using the front camera but quality is bad + its the front camera so not really useful.
    4. upon attempting to swap to back camera it is stuck in a loading icon and no video

  3. bracket abriviation

    Abriviateing the word bracket to brac or brack is censored. With the change to the system I feel this should be changed.

  4. There was a problem changing the camera, try closing your camera app

    There was a problem changing the camera, try closing your camera app

    I can get three different sources shown correctly right before I join in but as soon as I do, everyone else's screen is black and has this same message- it doesn't make any sense because I can't change other peoples cameras. Also, I can see other people's camera's for about a half second before it just blacks out and gives the error message for everyone.

  5. Feature Suggestions for SpellTable

    Dear SpellTable Team,

    First, I want to say thank you for providing such a great platform for playing Magic: The Gathering remotely. The interface is intuitive, and the ability to play with friends online has been a fantastic experience. That said, I have a couple of suggestions that I believe would improve the user experience even further.
    1. Friend List and Invites – It would be incredibly helpful to have an option to add friends within the app and send game invites directly from the interface. This would make it much easier to set up games with regular playgroups without…

  6. Camera bug

    load a game and keep getting We Had Trouble Using Your Device. Internal webcam works, but External webcams and phones won't. Setting are right, tried different browsers. nothing working.

  7. spectator mode (spectate mode) no longer works

    Spectator mode that used to work previously by adding "/?spectate=true" to the URL of the spelltable is no longer.

    Please, reinstate the feature it was very useful.

    Even when my language preference is english, everything in the spelltable UI is in french. It's like my preference in my settings are not register by your webapp.

    My device will not be read by the website ive tested the web camera on multiple apps but it still will not work. "we had trouble using your device" is the message that pops up every time

  10. Webcam very zoomed in on spelltable, nowhere else .

    Camera is zoomed in, i lose like 1/3 or 1/4 of the Picture this occurs only in Spelltable. I use Firefox and Logitech C922.

  11. "We had trouble using your device" with Surf Onn 1440p with Autofocus

    I found a Surf Onn 1440p Webcame in clearance at walmart for cheap and figured it be a good upgrade from me old one, my wifes old unbranded webcam that gives off a fisheye affect while playing. But the new one wont work on Spelltable. All is ee is a black screen than this text shows up " We had trouble using your device" Ive reset permissions multiple times and the old webcam still works with Spelltable but this new one wont.   14. I can't see video's anymore.

    I never used to have this issue until a few days ago and now after rebooting phone and PC the issue persists. After I scan the QR code, and on every one else's screen, I get the message: "There was a problem changing the camera, try closing your camera app". I have it set up to use my phone and other players can see my set up through my phone just fine, but I cannot see anyone else's screen.   15. Selecting aspect ratio with mobile camera uses incorrect orientation

    I'm using a 3rd generation iPhone SE.

    When I use my phone as my camera, the website asks me to rotate my device to landscape. I rotate my device to landscape, then choose 16:9 as my desired aspect ratio. When my camera connects, my camera is using 9:16 (portrait) instead of 16:9 (landscape). Then, when I rotate my phone to portrait mode, my camera on Spelltable becomes landscape mode and zooms very far in.

    What should happen is when my phone is in landscape mode, my camera output should be in landscape mode. Additionally, Spelltable zooms in the camera output…

  16. MTG Arena draft problem

    Hi,

    I've Just finished 2 bot draft events and encoutered 2 different bugs back to back - in the first event I was disconnected turn away from achieving a win, then the game return to lobby and the game wasn't recorded in tracker (I lost miserably next game). Afterwards I joined another draft and when I submitted my deck, ready to play my draft already had one loss even though I haven't even start the game!

  17. Other people's screens frozen but not mine

    Opponents feeds are not coming through for only me. Everyone else has no issues with viewing mine or opponents board. After clearing cookies and restarting PC the issue persists. Browser is chrome.

  18. Mobile camera is not properly connecting

    I have been using my mobile Android device for spelltable for half a year. Until about 3 days ago, there had been no issues at all. Now whenever I use my mobile camera, the lobby screen on my pc still shows the QR code and is black even after successfully scanning and logging in with my phone. I am able to record myself and my table with my phone but none of it registers with the spelltable lobby open in my pc. There is just the QR code which I already scanned and is still waiting for me to connect…

  19. OBS video source displays in lobby, but displays black screen in game

    When using OBS virtual camera the preview works fine, but when you enter a game the screen is black.

    Setup:
    -Windows 11
    -Google Chrome Browser
    -Enabled Camera/Audio permissions in Chrome and windows
    -When pulling video directly from a camera the video is fine.
    -When waiting in a lobby, the video displays correctly when OBS is selected.

  20. Game disconnected while in draft. Twice. Counted as losses and it ended the draft.

    I was in the games phase of a draft.I was already 0-1.The next two games i was disconnected mid game (the issue was not on my side,but Arena's side). When i started playing again, i won my next game, but instead of going 1-1 , my score changed to 3-1 and the draft ended.
