    Here the fix or at least it worked to me (copied from support mail):

    Open Epic Launcher
    Go to Library -> click the three dots under the MTGA game -> Uninstall
    This does basically nothing except for remove the game so you can install it properly later.
    Close Epic Launcher
    Go to your User folder in Finder -> Library -> Caches -> Find the folder named "com.epicgames.EpicGamesLauncher" and remove this folder
    Go back to the Library folder
    Open the folder called Application Support -> Ensure that the folder named "com.wizards.mtga" is not in this folder, if it is, remove it.
    Open Epic Launcher -> Library -> It will show that you cannot do anything with the game and you will need to click the three dots and select "go to application page" or whatever it is named.
    There it will say that you already own the game, click the "owned game" button -> This will take you back to the Library and now your game has the "Install" icon, click it, download the ~4gb of game data

    Hi, there are several of us with the same problem. Until now, there is no workaround to fix the problem. If you find something that helps to fix it, please, share it. Thanks!

    does anyone has fixed the problem? I still unable to play the game :(

    same issue here, unable to play in mac since last update (2022.18.0 (854.945100)). Game reinstallation didn't work. Don't know what to do to play :(

    Please +1 user affected. There is a workaround found (https://gist.github.com/april/ef679cf5719cc5a2ba6a55da20869ffa) but this is not a professional solution. Play in full-screen mode should not be a strange think, all games work like this.
    Please, make invest on this soon
    (macbook 14" user)

    This error is not yet fixed (10 febrary 2022). Impossible to play if the game is switching window / full screen mode every change of dialog.
