Same here on a MacBook pro. It started with the first bloomburrow update and still not fixed. I can play in the same network with phone and another laptop...

Keep experiencing the same issue on Windows 10, wired connection. My game usually sits like this for 3-5 minutes before taking me to the login screen.
Once I type in my credentials, the game hangs for about 20 seconds before popping a -1 error code.

If your are not in the US try unsing a VPN with server in the US. Worked for me almost everytime with these kind of problems

Having similar issues, but if I wait about 5 mins, it prompts to reconnect or log out. If I log out, it doesn't connect to the server.

I am also receiving a black screen into an authentication failure due to timeout. IOS. I was in for a couple of games post update before this started occurring.

WIN 10-PC: I've tried - re-installing, restarting, etc. Still black.
