    Hello everyone. The workaround for me that fixed the "black screen with sound" issue was thus:

    1. Open the client, load the black screen

    2. Open a second client, hit "Log out" in the first client when a dialogue box appears

    3. Register a new account (yes, seriously). You have to use an alt email

    4. Login to the new account. Once the tutorial starts, logout again

    5. Log back into your real account

    This seems to work for others as well

    Still getting just a black screen with sound after the game seems to load fine.
