To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback

Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.




Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)

If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.

If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work

Choose the Category that describes your problem.

Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.

  1. Summarize the problem
  2. List the steps you took that led to the problem
  3. What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
  4. What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps

Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.

  1. Open the life tracker and start a game
  2. Try to remove or add life to my life total
  3. Actual: my life total didn’t change
  4. Expected: my life total goes up or down

You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

1.  What type of device you’re using
2. What version of your operating system you’re using
3. A screenshot of the issue (Note: it must be smaller than 50 mb in size)
4. Whether re-starting the application and attempting the steps again solved the problem

  1. Companion App locked to wrong region

    I currently live in the Netherlands. I downloaded the Companion app for participating in an event here, but the app will only show locations in the USA. I tried turning my location on and searching any possible Dutch location to no avail. There is no clear region setting in the app or for my Wizards account. The only thing I could think to do was change the location of my Epic Games account since I have Arena through that, but it did not help. The event is tomorrow night, please help.

  2. Switching between languages

    I'm using English cards, but have my phone set to Spanish, so the companion app only shows in Spanish, until I switch my entire phones langauge to English, where the app switches to English. Surely a way to switch languages that are present in the app through the app would be helpful? I can't find a way currently if there is one already, and it's a massive inconvenience to consistently switch between my phone's languages if I wanted to use this app properly.

  3. Life Counter Orientation

    Please stop having the life tracker face my opponent. It encourages them to put their hands on my phone which is really really gross.

  4. Cant log into companion app - email reset broken

    Account details input are definitely correct, as I'm able to log into Arena and the Wzards site. But the app does not recognise them.
    Additionally the password reset function is throwing an error (see screenshot)

  5. Card Notes Unusable

    The text for your card notes for Android users is formatted horribly. See image. Also this method of user feedback is unintuitive and clunky. It seems wizards couldn't care less about improving it's user experience. Hmm

  6. Fonctionnalité manquante

    Bonjour,
    Il es dommage que lors de la recherche d’événement, le code de l’événement ne soit pas disponible voire quand on clique sur l’événement cela nous donnerait la possibilité de s’inscrire à l’évènement directement.
    L’organisateur est obligé de publié via une autre application le code de l’événement ! C’est dommage et une grande perte de temps pour tout le monde.
    Sinon très content de l’application !

  7. Card database

    The card database should include new cards at minimum by the prerelease. We opened unreadable cards written in phyrexian and couldn't look up the oracle text

  9. Stop sending push notifs after I turn off push notifications

    I use your app because i have to. I do not consent to being notified at any time other than when I explicitly am in a tournament that requires its use. There’s a setting to disable “general marketing” notifications but it is not being respected.

  13. Bug/Fix: Missing card backs

    Some card with backside are missing images/oracle. Meld, disturb, saga to name a few are missing their backside card from the database.

    Examples:
    Gisela, the broken blade
    Faithbound judge

  15. Pairings after round 1 are wrong on game win %

    People who lost 2-0 still have 33% game win percentage and opponents still have 100% game win percentage. This puts the the person who lost 0-2 above the person who lost 1-2

  20. Bug for ban in the past

    Hello, since a 2 weeks ago i have problems to join with the app to tournaments. The local store said me that i got banned, and now that is not true. Please i need help with this.
