Just imagine how incompetent you have to be to break touch screen support, not catch it in testing and release a broken version. Not listening to your users when they report it is beyond incompetent.
An error occurred while saving the comment Erik IV#25860 commentedI think it's time we start requesting refunds from Wizards for our touchscreen laptops that are no longer usable. Mine is collecting dust since December and it would sure be nice if I could get that money back so that I can buy an iPad instead and continue playing with a decent size touchscreen.
An error occurred while saving the comment Erik IV#25860 commentedI raised a support ticket to get some clarity on why this issue is being ignored. They didn't get into any specifics, but they said that "This feedback is reviewed directly by the Arena development team."
By this they meant bugs reported here. So the only way to interpret that is that they know about it, but either don't care or don't have someone competent enough to fix it.
I also learnt that there's another ticket that you can go and upvote if you want this bug to get more attention:
https://feedback.wizards.com/forums/918667-mtg-arena-bugs-product-suggestions/suggestions/46274983-02-2023-windows-touchscreen-still-non-functionalNot sure it will make any difference. Any functional company would have addressed this long ago, not to mention tested the update before releasing it, so that it doesn't have critical bugs.

An error occurred while saving the comment Erik IV#25860 commentedSame issue on my HP after the update. Isn't it about time you hire some QEs and buy some test devices with touchscreens? I'm quite sick of every update bringing new bugs and this is a major one. It's quite clear that your quality assurance isn't fit for purpose.

I couldn't believe it! I tapped on something and it actually responded! I wonder whether they will acknowledge that this is fixed now.
