Found a crazy work around. Have an Android phone used a "Link to Windows" app from my Windows 11 ROG 2-1 laptop. Ran the Magic app from the "Link to Windows" app and it worked.

Come on! One year of this not being fixed… this is an unbelievable thing to be busted for more than a simple hotfix. I would be happy to buy the option for touchscreen in the store since that is all that seems to matter. Call it the “PC touch pack” so I can play this and get into it instead of feeling frustration?

bought myself a yoga convertible to be able to play mtg on the couch, but now i discover touchscreen does not work properly anymore... Would be great if there can be an update where this is fixed, the game is just so excellently suited to be played with touchscreen windows devices.

I inherited a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 recently. Today I downloaded and installed MTGA. I was so hyped to play it on a larger touch screen while in bed or on the couch. ÑOPE. I could only use the virtual touchpad to navigate. I found this bug after troubleshooting.

it looks like they don't want to fix it, i don't think that they can't... If its like that, it would be nice that we at least know why they don't want to fix it....
Would be nice if we had the optio to change it to "Phone Mode" or something like that. I Also want to play it with touchscreen :'(

Geforce now seems to be another workaround but you have to choose a card before you can drag it
