So I had the same thing today, where I attacked with my only two creatures Ballroom Brawlers and Freelance Muscle into my opponent's board of four creatures. Before my triggers went off the opponent killed my Freelance Muscle with Kill Shot. Which led to my Ballroom Brawler trigger getting countered and me not gaining lifelink or first strike. It was quite frustrating considering the board state.
Sadly I didn't make a screenshot at the time. However it should be easy to reproduce.

Just had the same thing. Opponent concedes while I'm manually tapping my Battlefield Forge for white and the game freezes
