    First of all, *sorceries. Secondly, this is not a bug.. you apparently just can't read the card. You literally PASTED the text of the card into your bug report, but completely overlooked the fact that the card only allows you to cast PERMNANENTS from your graveyard... not instants or sorceries.

    The card is functioning exactly as intended. You, on the other hand, are not.

    lol this sounds 100% like a personal issue. How would the game even define "on-format" and "off-format?" The meta is defined by the players, not by the game. If you are running into decks you consider off-meta in 33% of your games, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but uh... it sounds like those decks might be part of the meta.

    Try entering Full Control mode before you play the Lotus Field. If you don't, the game will automatically resolve everything it can. The same thing happens with Amalia Combo-- if you don't enter Full Control, the game will not prompt you to allow you to cast an Instant in between resolutions, even though it should.

    I'm sorry, but this is a failure on your part to understand the game. Banishing light says "When Banishing light enters the battlefield..." This is a triggered ability which triggers when banishing light enters play. There is nothing wrong with the game, you just have a comprehension issue.
