As much as I would like to tell you to get compensation for Draft problems go to https://mtgarena-support.wizards.com/hc/en-us/requests/new/ and select "Report a problem with my event," wotc REFUSES to admit to the problems with the shuffler, claiming it is "perfect," and so will refuse to compensate for this, just telling you "Our shuffler is perfect."
However, if there was some OTHER problem with your draft, you could ask for compensation for that reason. It would be your choice if you also want to mention their broken shuffler; but if you do, they might latch onto that and initially deny compensation until you reply & point out the other problem.

If a creature with lifelink doesn't do damage then you won't heal.
As for why they didn't do damage, there's a few things that could cause that. Without knowing the board state I couldn't say what it was. -

Your opponent had a Bloodletter of Aclazotz out. This instant-win combo has been known since OTJ came out. Since neither got banned while OTJ was still the new set, I extremely doubt wotc will do anything about it.
