Did your opponent control Narset Parter of Veils

There is a problem with the card- "Cling to dust" in MTG Arena. I cast the card and exiled an land from my graveyard. according to the ruling, I needed to draw a card for exiling the land, but somewhat I just didn't,

This is still a bug - no card draw this morning when targeting my own graveyard

April 2021 and this is still an issue. Any sign of this being fixed?

The bug is that if you select a non-creature card, per the description, when this is played from escape, SOMETIMES nothing happens. You just exile cards and nothing happens while your mana gets tapped and you've exiled 5 cards. Players are ostensibly punished for using this ability.

This still happend to me twice now.

Between Feb 9-11 I experienced this bug several times. There is never a problem when I pay the normal cost. However, when pay the escape cost and exile a non-creature card from my own graveyard, several times I did not get to draw a card (nor do I get any life gain.) I am confident that there was nothing on the board preventing me from drawing a card or playing from my graveyard. This would be a very useful card if it worked properly.

It's possible you tried to pay the Escape cost of Cling To Dust with the actual card you were targeting. If you do this, the game gives no warning but the spell doesn't resolve and you gain no life / draw no cards. Big UI fail in my opinion, also just lost me a match.

I also had problems trying to use the "draw" a card part.

Just had the same thing happen to me, I exiled a pharika's libation with it, and nothing happened other than exiling 5 cards and tapping 4 lands

I'm able to gain health from it but when I use it to draw a card it does nothing but exile my cards.
