High CPU usage when running MTGA on Macbook Pro
Upon launching MTGA on a Macbook Pro, CPU usage spikes to over 100% usage and battery drains faster than I've ever seen it drain before. Adjusting graphics options had no effect, and the high usage persisted as long as the game was open, no matter what was happening on screen.
Another issue is the lack of fullscreen support for Macbook Pros, though this one is minor.

The game is poorly optimized. It crashes on my iphone 12, runs hot on my MacBook Pro m3, and even my i7 13700k rtx 4080 build sees more % usage than other games with seemingly more demanding gameplay and graphics

I have the same problem, any update on the crazy high usage when running MTGA on a macbook pro? I have a macbook pro 2018 with a Radeon Pro 560x 4gb. Processor is a 2/6 GHz 6-core intel core i7. Any settings tricks or possibly an update to fix this usage issue with macbook pros?

Same here, I'm using M1 MacBook Pro 2020. It's so hot.

Same story here. My mac is hot enough to fry an egg when running arena. Literally nothing else I've ever run has made the machine so loud, slow, and hot. I've actually resorted to putting it on an ice pack to cool it at times.
2019 Macbook pro. 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5. 8 gigs of memory.

Yup! Way more than I would expect. I am running a 2016 macbook pro w 16 gb ram. Not the best computer but none of my apps are so hungry.

That's insane. My CPU dies every time I play MTGA, and the resolution bug hasn't been fixed yet, and it's been ages now...

This needs to be fixed. My laptop is so loud and hot. The batter just slowly drains while plugged in...

Over 200% CPU usage at times on my MacBook pro. i7 and 16gb should be able to cope with something like arena please resolve these issues.

Exactly.
I would expect full screen support to be a standard. This issue is minor compared to CPU load.
The CPU usage is unbelievable (2020 Macbook Pro) - fans spins immediatelly to a full speed even when set to a low graphics option...come on, Wizards, it is not a Doom6, it's a card game with a pretty simple graphics. Should NOT be that CPU/GPU intensive. -

Can confirm. The CPU usage and the speed in which the battery drains is bananas. 1 hour, maybe 1 1/2, and it's down to just 10-15 %.
