I used Moraug in a sealed event match and my attacking creatures did not untap after the first combat phase. Due do thatbug I lost that match.

Is there any chance to get some of my gems back?

Ahhh. I think Vulpixon is correct. You basically always want to drop your land during your second main phase or else you're just going to waste the trigger (unless you have a bunch of vigilant creatures or don't attack with all of your creatures during your first attack step).

Lauta- I had this come up twice today for me as well. I played a land during my first main phases (two different turns) and got a trigger for the landfall extra combat mechanic but did not receive an extra combat phase after my normal phase either time. I won the game, but I would have won on the single turn and let my opponent potentially draw an out, which was very scary!

In response to Vulpixon's comment: I'm a bit confused. Are you saying that the extra combat phase occurs before normal combat phase? If so, then why do the creatures not untap? The trigger includes a new combat phase that untaps creatures, so even if the new combat phase occurred before the normal combat phase, your creatures would untap, correct?

Let me guess, you got this trigger on your first main step.
In that case, you get extra combat step with untap before your normal combat step.
And if you attack with all your creatures on this "first" combat step, you get later normal combat step with all creatures tapped, which makes the game just skip that step.

Its not a bug in this case, just how this card weirdly works. I got confused by this as well before I read the card clearly. Use this landfall trigger on your second main phase to utilise it properly.
