Opponent Did Not Lose With Negative Health
I was playing in the ranked ranks and I came across an opponent who did not lose the game after the hit points were below 0, he continued playing as if nothing had happened.

Opponent couldnt lose no matter how low their health got. I ended up losing because of this…. But

I have just had the same experience.
There is no angel in play on the opponents' side.
It is as if the card triggers despite it having nowhere to trigger. -

We just kept playing. Eventually he gave up. Had no cards left in his library (for 3 turns) and was minus 1041 life… you read that right

Same thing just happened to me in ranked standard (iOS). Opponent went into negative health but the match continued. I ended up losing the match. Would like a reimbursement on lost points please.

Same thing happened to me today. Opponent went into the negatives a bunch of times and was even down at -88 while I had nearly every creature in my whole deck out on the field. They won because I ran out of cards lmao (thanks Toski). I wasn't even mad because it was funny, but I wouldn't like to experience this a second time.

@awkward_zoo: There is a counter on the Faceless Haven, which is all creature types, including Angels.
You may want to check that game log to be sure.
Here’s the play:

Just ran into this too. No angel, no book of exalted deeds. Got him to -76 but the game didn’t end until he got me to 0 and then gave me a defeat.

Well, there was Platinum Angel in the past, so this isn’t a new problem, and cards override the rules otherwise. So, don’t hate the player, hate the game.

Same thing - I was at +25 and got my opponent to -3. He just kept playing until eventually he got me to a negative number and I lost.
See attached picture: THERE IS NO BOOK OF EXALTED DEEDS. THER E IS NO ANGEL. In fact, my opponent had NO cards to prevent him from dying when below zero. None at all.
The one constant in the game has been - go below zero, you lose. Period. That underlies every strategy there is. The Book of Exalted Deeds is a terrible idea in the first place. But as you can see from the attached picture, somehow now you don't even need an overpowered card like that to cheat and win.
It's either a bug, in which case playing is pointless until you fix it. Or it's a hidden feature/exploit, in which case playing the game is pointless until you fix it.

From the log: Book of Exalted Deeds. If you had removed that, or the Angel involved, you probably would have won.
That’s Magic, baby!

I attacked opponent with more than fatal damage, they didn't block and their life total went negative (-5). They did not die despite neither player having any effect that would cause this. I attacked again in the two turn I had after this, both times dropping their life total further negative (-14ish, -20something). After this, they attacked me for fatal, and I died after my life total dropping to negative.

Same happened to me. The opponent was even out of cards and could not lose. Attached is screen shot. I lost because I ran out of cards.
