Just had my first interaction with this. My game had a slight difference, tokens stopped being produced, then i had tokens being subtracted from my 248 total, creating a new set of tokens with summoning sickness. the number of tokens subtracted was was 18, number created 4.

This happens to me all the time. After 248 tokens, no more tokens are generated, nor do any effects triggered by the tokens entering triggers.

I just ran into this same problem where I had 248 construct scute swarm creatures that each had 248/248 power and toughness. I had 142 life and my opponent had negative 4,453 life but because they had a selfless samurai reconfigured with a cloudsteel kirin they could not lose the game and I couldnot win the game. Couple that with a Cleric Class level 2. Everytime they attacked with it alone it gave it lifelink which inturn gave it a +1/+1 counter from the Cleric Class. They also had 4 cosmos elixirs on the battlefield. So every time they would increase there power and toughness by +5/+5 and I could not gain life anymore and due to the reconfigurment they could not lose the game and I could not win the game. Luckly I won with 26 life left and the selfless samurai was at 66/66 due to a lucky draw of a field trip where I was then able to get a Introduction To Annihilation to exile the Steelcloud kirin. If it wasn't for that I would have lost the game waiting to draw one of the 2 Field Trips I had in the deck.

I was playing Season of Growth and Prosperous Innkeepers, I kept trying to play lands but could not create anymore Scute Swarm Tokens. because the game wouldn't make anymore scute bugs for me I wasn't able to gain life or scry. Also I noticed a few times when the game asked me to resolve every single scute swarm token entering the field when I had nothing else in my hand and nothing else I could possibly respond with. I am surprised at how complicated the Scute Swarm interaction is for this client, It makes me sad because I really enjoy playing scute swarm. Blue is broken and gets to play counterspells all the time plus infinite turns but when I want to play green and get a bunch of creature tokens the game can't support

I've encountered this once too many... the first time I was confused and I timed out a victory sadly. Here's a video of the second time it happened but luckily I won:

I've had the problem too. In addition, it was no longer possible to create any token. I was using Pool of Vigorous Growth with 10 mana and I discarded a good card but nothing happened. My opponent destroyed the Pool of Vigorous Growth.

It's not a glitch you can find an article about mtga making a creature limit specifically because scute swarm will muck up the servers and effect games outside of your game.

Yo fix your glitch. If you make the mechanics we should be able to use them. Specially when you let people have 1,000 plus life with seemingly no issue.
