Cards Art resolution on ipad needs to increase
I play mostly on my ipad pro and the resolution of art of the cards is really low, I buy cosmetics and love the aesthetics of the game especially the cards and having low resolution and blurry art is a bit frustrating especially when you spend money on cosmetics etc which is my case. Make the resolution at least ewual to the PC experience, thanks.

My iPad is the primary way I play MTG. It would really great to have higher resolution card art on the mobile app.

It’s not in the budget. When you have a money making machine like WOTC and Hasbro it’s more important that the executives and VPs get paid then worry about something like resolution of art. Forget about hiring a bigger or more talented development team. Their roll out of everything else dealing with this game has been atrocious. I’ll wait another decade and check back.

Completely agree, nowadays iPad, iPhones and Android devices have enough memory to store decent image graphics. On the other hand MTG stands out for its art style. It is no-brainer, I'd like to see better card resolution on mobiles.

Agree completely! A large part of the enjoyment of magic for me is the beautiful artwork yet playing on my iPad the resolutions are dreadful and the artwork is all blurry. Why do we not get high res files like PC do??

Yes, for a card game that selling cards aesthetics, this is very sad.

Yea its really sad… why should i buy any cosmetics when the cards resolution looks like **** on tablets. Sorry
By the way.. sets like Dominaria seem to have a higher resolution on their cards. But after that… nothing more to say. Please Wizard hear us mobile players -

Three years later but nothing changed. Art work quality is total garbage.

Yes that’s the exact problem…. And i can’t understand wizards, why they didn’t add an option to enable higher resolution for the cards. They offer an amount of cosmetics that may look good on PC or whatever but not on tablets like iPad. At this state, i would never buy them because on my iPad they look like 1990s. Sorry Wizard… but you have to understand that Magic‘s illustrations are an important part of the game. Look at games like hearthstone or legends of Runeterra: They offer high resolution card arts on mobile clients. Why is this not possible on magic arena.
I really hope you will fix this… Give us iPad users the chance to enjoy the game. -

New iPad Air 2022 reporting. WoTC, just imagine getting a feeling of a new beautiful device, installing the game you love and realising that someone did not care enough to do basic aspect of it. It is like getting robbed. It is not even about some complex features, it is not about getting new play mode, adding old sets which community is crying about - it is about respect to the user. This is not even a feature that we are asking for. This is absolutely basic required part, this is visual representation of what the game is about. About cards. We are not even asking about ULTRA high res. We just need normal resolution. We want it to look OK, not smth out of this world. This should be default, not something people are asking you on the forums you seem to ignore.
How you managed to ignore Apple users, given your concern about getting profit - this is just out of this world.
Please show at least some NORMAL attitude to the consumers.
Otherwise you should be ashamed. -

Please fix this, the iPad and the iPhone are very capable computers and I have plenty of space

Please fix! Huge reason I play is to appreciate the art. Hard to decide to buy cosmetics when the resolution is so low (2021 iPad Pro)

I’d love to see this on iOS. With the iPad Pro M1 it would be amazing. It can run Divinity Original Sins 2 at 60 FPS, it can handle the high-res artwork.

I'm so upset by this. Your last patch destroyed the mac version. The frame rates were unplayable on my imac AND laptop as soon as the patch took effect. I noticed my old iphone ran perfectly. As a treat to myself I bought a £1,500 iPad pro, as I do not anticipate the non iOS mac versions getting fixed anytime soon.
Now I have a top of the line iPad and my cards looks like total garbage. I spent hundreds on this game and over night I have to pick it either being unplayable or ugly.
I literally got into a new deck and thought "no way I'll buy any cosmetics though - it'll just infuriate me"
You make the online version of the best game of all time so you really have us by the balls. Can't you just do the basics?

Same here. Might look into using Steam Deck to get around this, which is kinda ridiculous, as most of the app works decently well otherwise.

I'm having the same problem on a top Android device- the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus.
Card image quality has been really bad and pixelated ever since the Kaldheim release while card image quality from previous sets is crisp and nice.
Since MtGA players tend to invest heavily in cosmetics and MtG in general is famous for it's amazing card art this needs to change.
The issue has been around for WAY too long now and it simply ruins people's gaming experience.
I literally struggle to figure out the art from the new Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty set :( -
