Agreed with these sentiments. Please leave the format alone. Or.. introduce Pioneer, you're only about 80 cards away from playable legal Pioneer on Arena.

let the original cards stay as they are in historic or refund wild cards for every single one that's nerfed.

Adding my comment and vote to this! All fine introducing Alchemy, but Historic is there to be a STATIC format for us who want to play Arena like TABLETOP game.

You say you add things to make all groups of users happy, but you are not.

Obviously MANY PLAYERS like to play Historic as a tabletop, if you want add Alchemy Historic (that will not be a big success as it’s a contradiction in intensions), but there’s no reason to apply changes to Historic..if not that you hope to MAKE MORE MONEY hoping that people will KEEP CHANGING cards.

DISGRACEFUL move WOTC, GREED will not lead you anywhere. Like others, if you’ll change the cards of my static Historic decks I’ll not buy more, I’ll STOP PLAYING.

Also DISRESPECTUL move towards all players who invested in lots of Wildcards to buy some key Historic cards for their Historic decks that you might decide to change at your will.

Once again, the only possible reason for this change is WOTC wanting Historic players to SPEND MORE MONEY instead of them being more stable around a format that doesn’t rotate.

LEAVE ALONE HISTORIC AND MAKE AN ALCHEMY HISTORIC IF YOU REALLY HAVE TO!

And you are so greedy to ‘force’ Historic players into ‘rotation’ money sinkhole, then as others say I wanto be refunded for every wildcard I spent making a historic card that that I thought was ‘mine’ and instead you can decide at any moment to change the rules.

It’s OBVIOUS to everyone that you’re just finding new ways of milking your loyal users (the one who really spend money with you), otherwise you would do Alchemy for all these ‘newcomers’ and leave untouched something no one asked you to change.

This announcement more or less defeats the purpose of the non-rotating nature of Historic if cards are going to be regularly subjected to errata. I play Historic because it's possible to learn the format and the play experience is stable, and evolves with new releases. Please consider keeping Alchemy in its own little bubble for these theoretical players that want their format to change every other day.

I welcome Alchemy but please oh please leave historic and historic brawl alone most of the busted cards in the recent standard are totally balanced in historic so why the change? Even though most of nerfed cards so far are unplayable in historic(except luminarch aspirant), it's just unnerving and induces anxiety. Please reconsider.

The moment that one of my historic decks is balanced to the point where I dont enjoy playing it, I wont be searching for ways to improve the deck or seek an alternative playstyle, Ill stop playing.

If you have an issue with how the power level of certain cards impact formats, then playtest extensively before release.

Ive seen so many cards designed to what seems like sell sets (Oko, Uro, Epiphany, Omnath) for them only to get banned.

We see that your trying to milk the players that aren't spending money by removing an eternal format. Stop pretending this isnt soley a business decision.

Player since closed beta. Please, give us a competitive eternal paper format. Leave us a place where to play only with all real Magic cards that Arena can offer. Please, #Leave Historic alone.

I am 100% against "rebalancing" existing cards. Once released, they should stay as they are. If they're too strong for a format, ban them. I'm not against Alchemy in theory, but instead of rebalacing existing cards they should be replaced by a new card with a different name making the changes you want made.

Please leave this format alone! Its the only format I play for crying out load.

Please leave historic cards as printed, not updated digital rebalances

You are screwing up historic for your community. Historic players tend to be players with a large collection so we can maintain the competition through each new set and own the old cards. Please do not poison our format. Please remove Alchemy nerfs from historic.

MTG arena need an eternal format with only proper unsoiled/unchanged/non-digital-only cards, if it is not historic, you need to introduce another eternal format ASAP.
This format should be balanced only by introducing identical digital print of paper cards; Banning or limiting some cards, should be used as last resort measure and must be accompanied by a wildcard refund.

Nerfing cards without a refund is just not OK (tempering with a product you already paid for IRL is not legal, it's not any different). Even Hearthstone offer a full refund for a limited time for any nerf to cards...

If you don't want to introduce a proper unsoiled eternal format at least don't let alchemy bleed all over historic.

If Standard can retain its "as printed" card pool, then there is no reason for Historic to be any different. Please reconsider this decision and keep Historic a unique format rather than Alchemy+

May we please have classic Historic and Historic Brawl alongside Alchemy Historic and Alchemy Historic Brawl? If Standard will have both versions then it's only right to continue to do the same in Historic.

I have played digital TCGs where cards are subject to errata and rebalancing. I don't like it. I play Magic because it has taken a stance to not introduce such errata to product which also exists on paper. If I wanted to play with amorphous game pieces, I'd return to Hearthstone or Shadowverse.

Please understand that having access to the current implementation of Historic is what drew me to Arena, there are very few players in my area that share my interests in Magic. I have long struggled with getting a playgroup that matched the style of play I enjoy. Historic Brawl is as close as it gets to my ideal. Forcing me to play Alchemy Historic takes me further from that ideal, not closer.

To be honest, most of us play MTGA just to play MTG online, not to play a new card game of the same name.

Please don't nerf historic cards.
